You probably need the help of a sherpa to climb them
I think I mentioned before, but friends of mine bought a house once where the attic conversion was listed as a bedroom. The survey revealed it wasn't done to regs so should not have been listed. They dropped their offer by I think 30k and the seller agreed to it; they were delighted, the attic hadn't factored in their decision to buy.
Like, what were they thinking when they designed and built this oddity?

I think that we may have seen this before, but it's rather lovely inside and worth another look.

It looks like it evolved or was added to over years rather then being designed. Much better from outside. I suppose it’d suit someone who can see a way past all the wood to make it less oppressive. It feels tight or small somehow just looking at the photos.
Awful outside

I love this & would snap it up in the morning but I would then be divorced by my OH so, you know, swings & roundabouts!
Really? God I don't see anything wrong outside, that's killiney hill park over the wall, and it's 5 min walk down to the beach.
you'd have to budget in a possible five figure sum to have those awful cypresses cleared from around it. otherwise it'd be like living in a dark room.
There is some rather disturbing block-work going on in that structure.
I'm familiar with the location. They should update the the ad with how it looks now
The living room has no windows, either front or back. Its literally a pine box.
I reckon Enya drives by it everyday to her place around the corner and mutters "Thats not a fúcking castle".
Just the yellow barrier? Wouldn't bother me, the views.are.lovely and the park's across the road.
I never knew it was a house. Always thought it was some civic office or something.
Well someone has some interesting hobbies (bit NSFW)

in pic 10 and pic 1 the ground floor window is different
Er, right. Had to go through again to see what the actual condition of the house was like.
Ah no they took all the sex dungeon photos down! Haha, never seen anything like it. Torture chair and everything!
Edit - I got back to my PC and still had it open in my browser. So all the photos were still there.
I won't post more of the explicit ones but this'll give you an idea;
Can't believe an estate agent took those photos and thought they could stick them up on a property website.
I was wondering about the NSFW comment!
It was quite…astonishing. Evidently you can buy this stuff!
Friends of mine once viewed a house where the owner had neglected to put away some sex toys before leaving.
...or maybe they were tenants unhappy with the idea of the house being sold.
Wowzers, I'd have that in the morning - and I'd never leave my bed/balcony! That's absolutely gorgeous. Who cares what it looks like from the outside when you can be inside looking out at that view!!!
You've gotta love the corrugated plastic sheeting on the "sunroom" - you'd need some stock of thermals to use that outside of a summer's day (when you'd no doubt slow cook in it).
How in the name of jaysus did that get a BER of D1???
There are some more photos of that NSFW house in Wales on this listing. For now.

They also appear to have an 'influencer' streaming setup in a couple of the rooms. It reminds me of the two lads who had a dungeon setup at their house Rathmines, once of them got too carried away.
The amount of equipment there and the camera lighting suggests a "commercial" operation existed of some sort.
I wonder is that a "subscriber" in coming through the door photo 4?
😁
thats a temporary structure though, council have already stated that. Parking situation isnt great but its one of the best locations and views in Dublin.

actually parking is better than i thought, although i wonder do they own the area they are parking on.
one mans kink is another man’s pleasure eh 😄
