Agreed, the consumer gets fcuked over time and time again. The producers always win. DRS lets them completely off the hook, the continue to profit on a massive scale, there's zero onus on them to try reduce the amount of plastics in use.
The only way to change the producers behavious is to hit them where it hurts - try not to buy - - in the pockets and no part of this scheme does anything near enough to do that.
Off this morning to drop bottles and cans back and got about e21 back and no issue with machine as all went in first time.
I got chatting to manager again about the issues of previous time as getting rejection on some containers , they got a software upgrade which fixed the issue and now faster to feed the machine as not spitting back..
Will be hard road for the TDs that lost their seats as every other party has at least some environmental policies that are palatable to the general public. I can't see Ossian Smyth ever getting back in

I get my tesco delivered. Which makes returning my cans more difficult as I dont drive. I would actually have to get a taxi to go to tesco to return the cans, which is why all my cans and bottles go into my green bin as usual.

He must have realised how popular DRS is with the public, and given his desire to be our next President, has decided to change sides. It is near the end at 1 hour 6 minutes.
