Yeah, working for me now too. Not surprised about my top game, it was nearly the only game I played from launch at the end of January until about early June.
No big surprise for me but it did make me realize I need to spend some more time with other non nba games 😊

iI like the colouring and deliberate scuffing but 30th edition makes me miss the coloured shapes even more.

I actually miss the coloured buttons more when it comes to being in a game, because there have been times during a game where a button prompt has come up and I can't tell if it's Square or Circle.

The yellow and black colours remind me of the Jordan team. Current status: consider.
Surely the difference between a square and a circle is bigger than the difference between red and pink.
Depends on the game and size of button prompt, but the combination of shape and colour meant there was never any confusion. Whereas the plain white Square and Circle, if button prompt was moving, small, pulsing etc, meant I was occasionally pressing the wrong button (or nearly pressing before realising).
Do you not know where the buttons on the controller are instinctively?
Of course, I mean distinguishing which button the game wants me to press, ie. the button prompt on the screen.
That's the issue with the Dualsense design and removing the colours from the button, in a lot of games that carried through to the game itself and the button prompts on the screen for Square and Circle look more similar now.

I love them all, but the God of War Ragnarok is my favourite.
I have the same, except without the god of war one. I use the anniversary edition for all my gaming now.

Annual reminder that if someone is getting a PS5 for Christmas, be best to set it up today or tomorrow and get all the uploads done and then repack it up. No one wants to watch a progress bar for their Christmas morning
On the plus side for a PS5, if you can't set it all up beforehand (as a kid, I would have known if someone had already opened it!), set everything up to download and they can play Astro's Playroom while waiting!

I wouldn't be too worried about updating. The system updates don't take as long as they used to, in my opinion. It's the games that take a while to install if doing so from disc. So unless you plan on installing every game you buy, may as well leave it.
Though I've no kids so wouldn't know how they would react.
That 1st time boot sequence is still very cool. No matter when you unbox your PS5 make sure TV is on the correct HDMI input before turning on.

PS5 pro 40 quid off in Smyths, but still would have to fork out 550 quid even after selling my slim disk model in CEX. 😭 And it might even have coil whine. Hmmm. Will stick with my slim, better the devil you know.
€261 cash for a PS5 Slim digital. Just keep the disc drive and swap the digital plate on the Pro to the slim and visa versa. That would reduce your outgoing to €499. It would mean selling the Pro privately if you're getting rid of it or sourcing a replacement digital plate.
For €261 I'd just keep the slim. Put it in a different room or something.
It's back to 799 now. Some other time maybe. Anyway, I've a load of non pro enhanced games to play and I've played the current majorly enhanced ones I want to play already.
Was gifted spiderman 2 for christmas so said I would give it a bash after enjoying 1 and trudging through Miles Morales. I knew there was a reason I wasn't enthused to buy it at launch but fingers crossed it gets alot better as like Miles I am going to power through.
Will say though it really looks spectacular and is smooth as butter but the map loving weirdo in me was disappointed to not see the chrysler building again.
