50 kWh I think. In other news I drove to donegal the other day. Speed limit at least all the way 246km. Normal heating, seats, steering wheel, whatever the auto looked for.
Averaged 15.8 kWh/100km. 2022 MY LR with AB. but used 53% of the battery so ignoring the theoretical maths of the kWh/100km into the battery capacity, just using the % figure, rough range of 465km. First time using a public charger in over 5 years. Hotel Errigal, added €8 to top it up to get home. 31c/kwh which is very honest charging for their 11kw chargers.
2019 Standard Range with 135k km. Yeah I definitely could have gotten less if I tried.
What battery is that? And age/mileage?
I don't think I could get near that in mine (2021 lfp 80k km) regardless of how hard I tried!
No not really to be honest. I wasn’t in chill mode but I wasn’t exactly flooring it either. Didn’t spin the wheels once. A/C and heated seat was on for I’d say 90% of the time
2019 with 135k km btw. Range was 300km or so in Summer
You must have been driving the absolute shìt out of it?
Charged to 95% a few days ago. Drove all the way down to 0km and only achieved 170 kilometres😂
Yeah I would have the house for software updates actually. I’l give that a go.
Have you multiple WiFi connections (car and house)? If you do maybe remove the house from memory. Probably worth to do a quick double button restart for good measure.
Yeah I think I’l just have to suck it up😂
you’ll end up paying that 32c a Day 😂
Turns out I already had that enabled. Yet this is what I’m presented with after putting the car in Drive:
latest Tesla app now allows watch to be paired and used as a key.
Seemly dashcam and sentry viewing on phone or direct download through the app too.
Part of this years holiday update so it seems.
Have a look at the Automate Android app. It is free and it has a template to switch on your hotspot whenever your phone connects to the Car Bluetooth. The phone will then switch off the hotspot whenever no devices are connected to it.
Saves you running the Wifi hotspot all the time as it uses a lot of power and can't be good for your phone.
Perfect thanks will check that tomorrow
Yes there is, look for "Remain connected in drive" from Wifi setting section in the car.

Your partner can use it 😛
Cancelled premium connectivity today. Only problem is I have to manually turn on WiFi and connect to my phone everytime. Is there no option to keep WiFi on all the time so it can connect to my hotspot automatically?
Quick question! - can you use you own referral code to buy a new Tesla? Anybody done it here, I'm assuming you just get the 750 credits?
Sorry I was referring to the parking sensors plus the on screen graphics showing the distance from objects. When I reverse I get the 2 lines on the screen but most of the time no distance to obstacles and no audible warnings.
I did use the actual Park Assist mode once and it worked fine except I parked me in a disables spot😁
OK I'll give it a go. Never raised one before so wasn't sure how it worked
I've found the updated parking assist (2021 Model 3 SR+, HW3 and USS) to be much improved, better to select a parking space and it's less hesitant when approaching the spot. I've used it a good few times and there is less small faffing forwards and backwards. But at other times, I'm still very wary as it tends to come either very quickly towards a parking spot with a charging pillar at the back (as if it doesn't see it) so I tend to intervene - or in some instances it can leave the nose sticking out the front of a parking spot that needs manual correction. Otherwise, it's a good deal better.
I got the software update (44.3.1) and initially it didn't work as the cameras were blocked (rightly so). I cleaned the rear one and it is working now. I tried the park assist and I think it is better than before. I even had the guts to park beside a pillar, which was not displayed as an obstacle. I don't like the harshness with which rotates the driving wheel but other than that all 3 tries were quite alright. Don't know if any difference but it is a 2021 model with USS. Once it parked with the rear bumper over the kerb and I know the Tesla vision only screams at me if I approach a kerb. Didn't try ASS. In 3+ years of ownership I used summon just once. EAP on M50 is recipe for disaster so I trust myself more.
Why not raise a ticket and see what they say on the quote, you can also engage with a chat after raising a ticket
Ive raised this issue here before and did a couple of 2 thumb wheel resets but it hasn't resolved the problem with the almost permanent "multiple cameras blocked or blinded..." message. It means EAP does work properly as lane change assist doesn't work but more annoyingly neither does park assist which is a pita when parking is a tight garage space.
I've read that doing a hard reset involving disconnecting the 12v battery and connector under back seat can resolve this but a bit unsure that this might cause other problems.
Anyone have a similar issue and did you manage to resolve it?
Was thinking about raising a ticket to have it looked at. The car is out of warranty so interested in what do Tesla charge for diagnostic work be it at a service centre or using the ranger service?
Yes I’ve seen that before alright. I always argued that if you test drive and then ordered using the same credentials then I think they have the right to keep it. But other posters argued against me and I think one poster got a refund so could be hit and miss.
But if you order cold online then I think the refundable deposit will always be refundable as you can technically give the car back within 14 days too.
It’s why I always say book a test drive in another name and using another email address (partner for example), then order using your own details if proceeding.
Latest agreements have specific wording which seeks to protect the "Non refundable Order Fee" status. The Website describes the fee as "Non refundable Order Fee" and where a customer has Test Driven a car the agreement (contract) has wording to strengthen Tesla's default position. I am not expressing any view as to whether legally this is watertight, nor interested in discussion on the topic, merely pointing it out so others can form their own view.
It is mentioned. In the T&C of the order agreement.
There’s a few other contracts there, lots of legal speak but basically, it’s the distance selling rules that allow you to cancel. It’s stated as specific region rules or guidelines or something to that effect. It’s the same law that applies to returning an iPhone, cancelling an insurance policy etc. All distance selling rules by phone or online.
I don’t use HA either, but I can get the car to do some things using iOS Siri etc, like open charge port, close charge port, open trunk, close trunk.
Because they would like to hold onto the deposit.
thanks, so its not mentioned anywhere on the tesla website even while ordering, bit bizzare. why not just make it clear right!?!
