I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Delighted to see a Galway gig announced, he is a great live performer. Leisureland hasnt had the best of luck with gigs recently so would be curious to see how this goes
Falling in Reverse have cancelled their Irish and UK dates.

honestly they are idiots booking that tour knowing that since 2020 it is a mandatory visa ban for anyone with a 12 month prison sentence. There is no discretion on it so no hope of them every playing unless uk change the law

Never saw or never heard any one I know going to her and think of all the lovely bands that could be playing instead of this wan ..it's very disappointing .

Comedy gigs in the 3Arena are absolutely awful. Small rooms are way way better and will likely be more profitable for her. I can see why she's doing it.
Two of my top gigs of the year. Would love to see them both back. Love that sound, it's having it's time in the sun at the moment. Such dead on, laid back bands too.
Was thinking about going to the Dublin show as the support bill was decent especially with asking Alexandria but the fact Danny just phones it in since he's just a hired hand these days. The other side was Ronnie is a prick so that was another reason I didn't rush to get a ticket, they've a few catchy tunes. I was also thinking how would his criminal record effect the tour, he also cancelled a few other European shows over the last few weeks very last minute.
Theyre almost unwatchable. Constant heads walking up and down rows with pints, going for pisses, people chatting etc.
Some absolute clown beside me at Chris Rock came back from the bar (a 30 second walk) with a tray ith 4 pints for himself. And then there was a full on fight in one of the blocks up the back when Chris was on stage
Saw Peter Kay in the Manchester Arena at the weekend. 18,000 people in the audience. It worked. Queues for the bars at the start and interval were unreal.
What else would you expect from that absolute ghoulbag of a human?
Could we see a 50 cent gig in Ireland next year, just got announced for TRNSMT. Maybe headliner for Longitude?

will this sell out Leisureland? I know Lankum and The Mary Wallopers did well there last year, but with Peter Hook moving to the Black Box, I'd have my doubts FJM can sell it out especially at 50 quid.
Nothing worse then being in Leisureland for a poorly sold gig…..anyone remember Primal Scream back in 2013? I remember Bobby Gillespie coming out and smirking at how few people were there, and this was off the back of a decent Glastonbury set earlier that summer. To be fair to them they did the show and were great.

Easily I'd say. I know Spotify figures aren't everything but artists who've filled LL in the last few years include John Grant (300k monthly listeners), Paul Weller (715k), Waterboys (2.3m) and Lankum (96k). Father John Misty has 10.5m per month. He's much bigger than most of us realise.
No news on the airport. Surprisingly cos they've allowed GIAF to publicise 4/5 gigs so far. Last year MCD were ahead of them.
alot of his listens are for lana del Rey collab and a song that went viral this year on TikTok. Doesn’t translate to ticket sales. You’ll be able to get tickets for Galway/Dublin easily

I didn't think John Grant sold out Leisureland, much preferred him in Seapoint - now there's a venue that doesn't get used or mentioned much at all anymore, anyone know why?

The question was whether this would sell out Leisureland. It will, easily, or you don’t believe so? His (very likely) televised Glasto appearance will do those sales no harm.
Leisureland sold out on 2019. They then released a few extra tickets for the door. Great gig. Him and FJM on a par for me.
No Irish date for avenged sevenfold unfortunately....
