Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
My brother introduced me to Fugazi in 1989. Alt music but it was agreeable. Around the same time I bought my first Charlie Parker CD. So it's a win|win.
a quick chance shows it has the wrong capacity for multiple Dublin venues on it.
Saw them the last time they played the Grand Social. Not bad but didn't really take off like i expected/hoped it would. Barring clashes i'll be in attendance for this one anyway.
The Pollstar attendance records for the 3Arena say you are wrong.
it isn’t, it’s 8500 and less than that if a poor visibility sections are roped off which they occasionally do when comedian isn’t using big screens
Excellent info. Not available on their official site. Thanks and enjoy your weekend.
Its 9300 fully seated.
standing area on its own is about 5300 but that can be lower depending how long the walkway is, if there is a mini stage at end of walkway or a second stage like this for kendrick which probably too off 750 -1000 standing tickets from venue capacity
Thanks, I was aware of the first two figures but not the third. Safe to say that the usual standing would be circa 4,000, or less? Not possible to calculate without being aware of the figures for seating when the standing capacity is met. I appreciate the feedback.
3 arena full capacity is 13,000 with downstairs standing and upstairs seated. 3 arena full seated is 8500
3 arena in MBV configuration is 9000 or thereabouts
Thanks for the info. What’s the standing capacity, as used for The Cure, etc? And the MBV configuration means circa 10/11k tickets sold I’d guess.
only about 1200 in that configuration. And no the seating configuration is not going to change after all the seats have sold.
one night only, no extra dates.
I’d guess that those gigs sold proportionately around the entire island. Taste, good or bad, has no boundaries as we can see from the distribution of musicians on our island.
It cant be changed now.
Rows 5-20 of the tiered seating would have to be removed to enable the full standing layout.
Im sure they can add an extra date, its not like they have a hectic schedule.
Absolute barbarians from the midlands and border counties.
Anyone know how many standing tickets were likely to have been released for MBV. It’s obviously the restricted standing model for the 3Arena as some have stated earlier, but given the demand is there anyway that’ll be changed to increase the standing area? Or do the lower down seats already sold preclude that from happening?
Apologies for all the questions.
So it’s non-Dubs only? As it was for Garth Brooks?
Sam Fenders released some production tickets:

Im 26 I'm old but I'm not that old 😂😂
There is a name for that.
Ageing.
Springsteen and Swift raised the roof on ticket prices and drew the ire of the public in doing so.
Now however every hack is trying to charge these high prices and the public is normalised to these prices.
Its madness.
Zach is bona fide
Oh I know, but like I'd have thought her music would be more suited to that type of a venue like, I wouldn't think you'd enjoy it being in a stadium its not the most upbeat music like haha, she can't help it though if there's demand there's demand like
Oh I've heard of him alright, I know he's big in the US where there's all sorts of country stars selling out stadiums/arenas, several of which have played at the 3Arena as mentioned above, I just didn't think Bryan would be popular enough here to do 2 nights at 50k each…. London/UK is multiples of Dublin/Ireland and he's only doing two slightly bigger shows there…..
You must be wan of them big tough North Face jacket wearing townies then ? Alreet yeh ?
Lana Del Ray could’ve done stadiums a while ago. Pretty sure she sold out 3 Arena on a weeks notice last year
Jaysus that's some jump from doing two nights in helix about 2-3 years ago. Tbf he seems to have blown up going by social media but even 100k tickets seems ambitious (could be wrong)
Looks like Lana Del Rey sold out the Aviva, it's actually mental how many acts are filling stadiums now that you wouldn't have even considered not too long ago
i too feel the disconnect
