Yes. 😇
By "dropped" you mean "launched"?
Only ones I've got that aren't easily available are Dew Drop - pint glasses, not the stemmed one in their gift pack, which they gave me at the RDS - and Trouble, which I was given for letting them know about an issue with packaging they'd not noticed.
Trying to think without being at home to check - I've otherwise bought packs with glasses or got them in other promotional deals for Journeyman, a ceramic tankard from Rye River/McGargles, some different White Hag, multiple festivals at home and abroad (actual glass as well as the plastic tumblers - somehow got two Porto Beer Fest glasses back safe); on the whiskey side I've Talisker, Bushmills, Writers Tears. I'm sure there's more I've forgotten now
I've got some generic but "nice" beer and whiskey glasses in the cabinets that might get relegated to the normal glassware rotation instead.
Ditto. I am fast running out of space. I did treat myself to a Wicklow Wolf glass, and have chanced my arm asking DOT for a single glass (they sell a multi pack of glasses) and Galway Bay. DOT came back asking for my address, but nothing arrive. Galway Bay didn't reply.
fwiw, the Mescan glass isn't my favourite. I usually only use it for a Mescan beer, whereas most others got a lot of use.
I was wondering. That would be a crazy price for three bottles.
I'm an absolute sucker for branded glassware, but my display cupboards already pretty full… there's a few duplicates in there though, could shove them in a cupboard for spares…
Oh, oops. That's decent value and quite a mix of beers. Nice set. I know they used to have wooden crate ones years ago.
It's 6 bottles. That's a front and back photo of the same box.
Mescan have launched a 3 bottle 6 bottle plus 1 glass gift pack for Christmas on their webshop. Available direct from the brewery through their online shop, in various Mayo supermarkets and good off-licences nationwide, so they say.

Whiplash have dropped Fatal Deviation and BA Fatal Deviation on their webshop. The BA version gives little detail - Imperial Stout aged from 2022 to 2024 in bourbon barrels at our Dublin brewery.
They have 20% off a 12 can build-your-own box, with a free tote (when you add it to the cart). No codes required.
In the fraft world, there was mention that Diageo are or were going to brew Brooklyn Lager in James Gate. Did anything come of that or of Diageo doing more with Brooklyn?
It would be better for the independent sector if they didn't.
In Denmark, their agent there is Carlsberg and they're basically everywhere Carlsberg is (except very small rural bars); but not the lager primarily, and probably understandably - the Stonewall IPA seemed to be the most common.
In 'trendy' bars in the cities there could be 4-6 different Brooklyn taps. Bars generally either have Carlsberg and its lineup (Tuborg, Somersby, Brooklyn etc) or Royal (Faxe, Heineken etc) and its ones; pretty much never both.
Don't think so. Heineken built a gigantic new Beavertown brewery in Enfield, and the plan was to keep the original site going for small-batch projects like the barrel-aged stuff.
I was just gonna say I noticed it in loads of non craft Dublin pubs over the weekend. I was sure they weren't there the last time I was up.
Is the original Beavertown brewery gone now, and it's produced by bigger Heineken plant?
Heineken did a big launch for Beavertown in Dublin at Halloween. Saturating the market is phase two. They're in non-craft pubs because they're non-craft beers.
I could be wrong but Beavertown seems like it's all over Dublin now. I say it in a lot of non craft pubs
As for Changing Times it's grand and what you would expect. The only thing it will "change the times" for is the likes of 5 Lamps I reckon.
Dudley's, as stated elsewhere, is a great pub for craft beers and food.
Love Tempo is directly across the road from there and is also good for the craft stuff. Pretty sure it's partnered with/owned by the Whiplash Brewery so you'll get a decent selection of stuff.
Yep, had the Oyster stout last weekend in their London pub. Also noted they have gotten rid of the weird 'estate agent' style logo they had before.
Last time in there I concentrated on the cask lough gill macnutty!
Yeah. The pubs and the brand stayed with the original owners. The beer is now made in White Hag and Kinnegar, I believe the tap logos now tell you which makes which.
Just double checking before pre-gig beers over the weekend, but it was only the brewery that Porterhouse sold to McGregor, not the pubs?
Great shout. Thanks
If your into Belgian beer many offies do packs with the 330ml+ glass included at Christmas time.
Id like a glass to pour 330ml/400ml cans into. Any breweries sell one you'd recommend online?
@breezy1985 Bull and castle do decent food n drink.
The Wicklow Wolf code appears to be a €5 delivery coupon, but delivery costs €6. So, it’s not quite free shipping but €1 shipping. Picked up a glass after some time of wanting one.
Wicklow Wolf have free shipping on all orders, with code WWFREESHIP244.
Whiplash have a flat 25% off on the webshop, no code required.
Rascals have free shipping with code ElectionCans.
Galway Bay have Black Friday deals from 7am on Fri, with free shipping on orders over €60 from Friday through till the end of December.
I see they've just announced this one. Will definitely be grabbing a couple of these at the weekend.

There just isn't the demand. Kinnegar already have quite a large range and the darker beers were always the slowest sellers.
Dudley's and Harkin's are decent spots in that area.
