they might have taken down the sheet with the hemp logos in the bathroom first!
good honest interior at least. but the back garden and surrounds looks grim.
Jaysus, talk about a house of two halves!
I thought for a while pic 12 was some sort of eternity pool.
That's fabulous. If I had a spare 2 mill lying around the place I could live there quite happily.
I'd have to get rid of those (non-)armchairs in the living area though - they just remind me of some sort of device for strengthening your core muscles - how could you possibly relax on one of those??
Reminds of something from Love/Hate or Kin.
I like it, wouldn't live there (because I can't afford to) but it would be nice sitting
there with the doors open and rugby match on the telly from Lansdowne Road.
It's a 2m penthouse, so obvious it's nice. But I'd hardly call it fabulous as far as penthouses go. Pretty out of date. Cheap "builder's" finish and fittings. Joinery is pretty basic, not much of it. Prob the same level of finish as the basic units below. The detailing on the roof terrace isn't great quality, which isn't very reassuring.
The furniture won't come with it (not a bad thing, mostly awful accept maybe the Eames lounge) and when you clear it out it's mostly white walls. I'd expect higher quality finishes for a penthouse.
It's a penthouse, so its better than 99% of apartments. But compared to other penthouses I'd say that's well below average.
Jurgen Klopps house. And Steven Gerrards

First thing I thought was the fancy apartment in Kin.
It may be the highest penthouse in Ireland, but not the most expensive currently. That prize goes to its neighbour just up the road a little and likely within waving distance! This one is around the €7.5m figure!

€5.5m to live 'on the peninsula'. In fairness, there's a lot going on in this house.

If Temu did house interiors…

That's been on the market since summer 2023.
It's next door to St. Anne's, Patrick Hillery's former home,

which was granted planning for 23 new units in the grounds this summer - in a mix of houses and apartments.

I think that house was used in a tv show called The Catch. Set in the UK but a lot, if not all filmed in Ireland. Brenda Fricker was in it.
much better quality of design and finish in that one.
Little more than waving distance though, other side if Aviva
For €550k you too can live in a two-bedroomed ex-council house with a burned out room 😍

it’s like the house from clockwork orange
Large corner site with potential to extend or build another house (Subject to Planning Permission)
That makes it much more interesting. Lots of these old council houses in mature areas have built houses on the gardens.
There are bits of that I love, and bits I hate in equal measure.
This kids' bedroom is amazing, though.
The Gym looks to above the bar, that's genius, also the bar seems have an old-school extractor above the dancefloor suggesting Stevie G was not a fan of the smoking ban 😂
It's like his wife said, ok Steven I mean if you want a playroom for your friends and your funny gym things it needs to be in garden.
Imagine the parties that place saw.
All in all its nicely done, but it's a country estate of a house on a few council estate plots but given the previous occupants it would have appeal I guess.
Island in the Sun, this one could have a lovely Caravan for the summer:
Roan Inish, Portnoo
50% of the hotel / lodges at mount falcon are being used to house refugees so its not tourists you will have wandering around
The dogs bedroom is not too shabby either!
The front elevation of this house looks like it was drawn by a 10 year old in ms paint.
Love the disclaimer notice 🤣

Father Ted theme tune plays in my head looking at those photos!
Rón Inis is a low-lying storm-lashed small archipelago comprising five main islands and a large collection of tidal skerries.
The outlaying skerries at the eastern end of the island catch all incoming sea motion and it would not take much west to north-west motion to make accessing the beach impossible or at the very least not safe.

Not protected at all I'd say it gets covered by the sea in every storm.
Its also a nature reserve, id say you'd be very limited by what you could do with it if bought.
a nature reserve grazed by sheep… could be machair.
They should add to the disclaimer that actual acreage depends on the tide.
