What is it? I have a vendetta against going on any bbc websites as they are biased on a lot of topics.
+1 for the post but I reckon it's a Roo…
Have a Kangaroo skin looks very like that!
Sure if the TinFoil hat is taped on and you burn some sage I'd say the bbc wouldn't do ya too much harm 😁
That aside its a visitor centre in Aberdeen for 150k… if nothing else it would very much be the ultimate rave (insert more nasty things) room in Scotland, close enough to Edinburgh for da deviants, and close enough to Aberdeen for da money and far enough away from the local kernts.
Maybe they should have asked me to write the advert hmmmmm.

I have a list of sites I don't go on or click as all your doing is giving the scumbags extra views so they think what they are typing is a great story.
Don't say we don't give you nice things :)

Anyone else thinking of Jurassic Park?!?
I was hoping for Alan Partridge's house when I read your comment!
Quite a clinical finish but great potential

I like this one, maybe some more colour

Oh that's absolutely gorgeous! And looks like a lovely beach on your doorstep as well.
As usual, I'd need to do something about the shiny tiles all over the ground floor, but at least they have them somewhat mitigated by nice rugs.
And I get that it's an A2 rating, but I'm not sure I could be doing with no opening windows in the summer.
if you scroll to near the bottom of the page, the viewing stats have shot up in the last day or so. obviously gone viral.
Some liberties take with the saturation button - particularly noticeable in the bunch of flowers in pic 22 - but yes, lovely views. Its a bit sterile looking for me, but a very nice house.
God bless the optimism of the estate agent photoshopping a fire into the hearth in this boarded up house!

probably firescreens. you can see the pattern of the light falling across one of them in photo 11; not something the EA would photoshop in.
The blurb is incredible:
"superb three bedroom mid terrace family home"
"and can use some cosmetic upgrades throughout"
and the inevitable:
"blank canvas"
Lord, that's manky.
Same here, a bit clinical looking but still very nice.
I was about to say the same. And of course they 'are delighted to bring this superb three bedroom mid terrace family home to the market…'
it's a bananas price to pay for a house in that condition in that area. if they can get someone to pay that much.
I heard this mentioned on the radio this morning, so had to have a look
For someone who wants to sell something, they're not very forthcoming with information!
No interior pictures, bar one which could be a sauna, or a bedroom, or just somewhere to store a bed and rugs.
No details of the accommodation, except "2 beds, 1 bath".
And of course, no price tag - POA.
It looks to be the very definition of splendid isolation, though, if that's your bag. And Roaringwater Bay is an absolutely fabulous part of the world.
Paul Mescal rumoured to be interested, so that'll boost enquiries no doubt. It's only up the road from that other actor-castle belonging to Jeremy Irons.
One of those fun millionaire play things that they always get bored of when the bills start mounting up
'What's the price?' … 'Depends on who's asking'.
The land that comes with it looks to be about double the castle footprint. So you could just about walk around it!
No road into it, but you do get a right of way to it through a local farmyard.
Oh, and plenty car parking space( about 300 mtrs away)
where does the water for the bath come from, or go to?
https://roaringwaterjournal.com/tag/leamcon-castle/
Don’t know where it comes from, probably from the clouds. But you do get a septic tank, albeit on someone else’s property ( there is an easement for maintenance).
Fabulous location looking great on a good day. Leaving aside that they clearly weren’t expecting a photographer to arrive to take the two odd interior shots, what the two do show doesn’t look very architecty to me. The exterior though does look very sympathetically done.
Would I buy it? Not for any money in the world. I have no interest in battling my way up that path, shopping, child or even phone in hand in gale force horizontal rain on any day of the year.
26 High Street, Birr, Birr, Co. Offaly, R42X761 is for sale on Daft.ie
Looks like the remains of a bombing raid…..imagine how cold that bathroom would be on mornings like these….😖
looks like someone is living in that 🥲
Shower is a deathtrap.😲
