Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
that was a decade ago, it could just be that the secret ingredient in his ticket prices is greed.
Random question but if anyone has seen the new episode of Bad Sisters (S02 E04) do you know the venue used at the beginning. A bit like the Button Factory but not it, more like the Grand Social but I thought the bar was further back? The outside shot after looks like the back of the Olympia.
he has tax avoidance settlements with UK he needs to pay.
He does have a monster child to feed.
(those prices are insane though! it's Gary f'ing Barlow, you should be seated further away the more you pay.)
Stiff Little Fingers announced Academy show for Aug
Agree 100% I HATE them haha
I'm glad Download whacked them straight up to a headline slot next year. It's a good antidote to the "All the big rock dinosaurs are dying out" problem.
They seem to have taken the "But that's not metal!" baton from Ghost. I can definitely see how they're marmite material but I love them, personally.
Saxon ticket got handily in the Pre-Sale - €53 - very reasonable. Always put on a great show.
You and me both! Looks like best hope is they include us in any upcoming UK tour. They won't be touring outside of the US and the UK based on recent interview with a German magazine.
They are vip tickets.
Had a look at Killarney, 115 euro for most seats.
It was 66 euro for a standing ticket in 2018 to see him.
These price increases are getting silly, Id probably have paid 80 but im not paying 115 euro.
Me too 👍️
My Bloody Valentine tickets secured managed to get standing, 3presale came in clutch absolutely buzzing
😯 steep
€223 for seating in the first five rows of the Circle in the Olympia. Yikes.
Hopefully the Saxon gig goes a bit better than this did
Probably able to do the 3 arena easily at this point, no idea how there absolutely dreadful.
Ireland needs a Sleep Token gig in 2025
They were amazing in Manchester tonight
How they can run 2 big events at the same time in the same area is beyond me.
You can get them on digital cards if you click 'Click Here' below.
Indeed.
With a shipping fee to pay too - only physical cards - so it's pittance really!
Was 10% last year, bit of a shame that it's so low this year.
You can get 5% off with EARLYBIRD24.
Sorry not specifically gig related but couldn't see the right thread for it. Any sign of a Black Friday offer on Ticketmaster vouchers this year by any chance? Had done a bit of looking and couldn't see anything.
Beyond the Pale announced extra early bird tickets are off sale from 10pm Sunday
Yeah was at both and Slane was something else alright with it being the first European show of the reunion and his voice while hit or miss was a lot better than it is now,
Not knocking the Marlay Park gig but thought that was good as well like, crowd was definitely not the same vibe at all, but thought Axl was in pretty good form that day he ended up blowing his voice out alright and the next two shows at Tottenham Stadium were a disaster due to that 😅
I'm kinda gutted they aren't coming here but sure look they seem to be in Europe for a solid 2 months so might take a flight over and see them, they do put on some show in fairness to them, lack of any new material is a joke alright after 10 years
Really hoping for a Tears for Fears gig next year as was rumoured a few months back.
I saw Saxon during the summer, the band were top notch, the singer was a bit of a dose.
Tempted by this gig as the support act is Dirkschneider, former lead singer of Accept. He is performing his classic album Balls to the Wall in its entirety. I seen him a few years ago and is good fun live.
Not a gig question but does anyone know how to change your phone number on a ticketmaster account where you don't have access to the number on the account. I tried to do it earlier but they send a message to old number for security reasons.
they have played here 5 times in last 15 months would you let them have a rest. Been constantly on tour since 2022. album tour probably winding down with those 3 uk shows next year.
@Fanirish any rumours of idles back in Dublin next summer? I know they're only doing like 3 UK shows next year.
nah will not be plenty of standing in any presale and it will sell out on presales alone with only scraps for general
