Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
A few seconds? Goddamn Progrockers. They're no Electro Hippies!
You have a wife and kids right?
Worth a trip to Dublin maybe…..
Had.
On the oldies trail as well but a definite swerve for Napalm Death.
So far it's Throwing Muses, the guys from Gomez, Flaming Lips doing Yoshimi, Public Image Ltd, Mogwai, Buzzcocks, Vaselines, Joan As Policewoman, MBV, Waterboys and most likely Iggy. Add in a trip to Somerset, a few Galway Arts gigs and I'm happy to stop spending now.
I assume this is the A House, of Dave Couse fame? I think I'd heard they were playing? This'd probably be worth a trip & be class. Saw they play live in The Limelight, Belfast, many years ago. Was superb. Great tumes.
Brilliant in Whelan's last time out. So many class songs. They were working on some new stuff I think. Not sure what they're Intending to play for this one?
Seeing this poster for the GnR tour, looks like we're getting skipped again unfortunately, the dates were on their site earlier but got taken down, not sure why Vienna got classed as being in Italy though 🤣
sure two shows in last 8 years is plenty enough for ireland. Only option would be marlay again and probably too risky
Wow from selling out 5 shows in 3Arena and Musgrave Park now back to small venues, LATM and INEC for Picture This
latm is 10,000 across the 2 nights, who knows might even be a third and that is same as musgrave capacity. Sure they sold 60,000 tickets across their Dublin, cork and Belfast shows this year. Still doing the business
deacon blue 3 arena next October
Is that a bit ambitious? I reckon probably the smaller layout.
Very long shot but anyone have a MBV presale code please?
I thought I had one, but no I guess not. I'm with foggy notions mail list so will forward on if I get it
Great in Slane, not so great in Marley. Not bad but I wouldn't buy tickets a third time. Happy to be skipped!
I'll get me Ben Sherman shirt, sovereign ring and joop out of the back of the wardrobe.
that’s it. Promoters know when diminishing returns sets in and better to let ireland be skipped for a tour or two. Uk only gets 2 shows and it’s 13 times our size
The emails from FN are due circa 10am.
fully seated show so 8500 cap. Sold out Collins barracks in no time so this will be easy sell for them
I thought it was artist presale today and Foggy Notions tomorrow. General on Friday. Maybe i read it wrong.
Artist today, foggy and 3 mobile tomorrow
This actually excites me....
No you're right. My mistake, I should have said the emails direct from MBV.
Three+ tomorrow also.
No standing tickets for MBV from what I can see. Ach, there'll likely be a much bigger release of tickets tomorrow and Fri should also have plenty of standing.
Sent
Ah nice one! That's solo so and no band yeah?
nah will not be plenty of standing in any presale and it will sell out on presales alone with only scraps for general
@Fanirish any rumours of idles back in Dublin next summer? I know they're only doing like 3 UK shows next year.
they have played here 5 times in last 15 months would you let them have a rest. Been constantly on tour since 2022. album tour probably winding down with those 3 uk shows next year.
