Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Central Belters is on Spotify too, but it's a fairly meaty compilation (pushing four hours)
It's worth giving their live album on Spotify a listen. It's called Special Moves. it's probably more than 10 years old at this stage, but has some classics on it
Been listening since you posted @Dreamweapon and really liking their stuff, the alternate male and female vocals work. Looks like they're only doing Dublin which is a huge pity. Hard to see how they can make it pay, pop over for one (or two) small dates after paying for ferries or flights plus accommodation. Maybe a lot of upcoming acts still make arrangements with other musicians for somewhere to stay? I can't afford to buy merch at every gig but I try to make the effort when these young acts from the UK (or further afield) get over here for a tour.
Nice! As the Love Continues is my only real knowledge of them, but that in itself is enough to make me go
youd imagine a malahide show would suit them marlay prob too big unless they added decent support
Fantastic, and note the pricing too. With minimal booking fees for GIAF fees it’ll be circa €43/€44 for Mogwai in Galway. That’s a bargain with current pricing.
Muse/Justin Timberlake/Olivia Rodrigo announced as headliners for Pinkpop in the Netherlands. Praying for a muse gig here 🤞🤞
Happy with the Mogwai gigs.
They put the world tour dates out a few weeks back, so I had assumed Ireland was being skipped.
Holy **** - I am absolutely going to Mogwai in the Big Top
That didn't take long. 😉
Timing is right for a Galway Arts Festival date too. Not sure they'd warrant the Galway Big Top, which is more than twice the capacity of the Limerick one, but maybe?
Vicar St 27th July too
Mogwai playing Limerick big top in July
"Sophomore album " ……. 😏🙄
Used to be 'difficult second album…'
Mad ..He's already playing two with gaps in between , in April.and another in May
I am indeed! Nice one Dreamweapon.
Divorce, Workmans Club, Tuesday 1st April:
@Stillill42 you're a fan of these iirc.
There's way too much on for March! Not really a fan of the Descendents but will probably hit this.
Peter Kay is also adding 2 more shows in Belfast for 2026 One is definitely Tuesday 21st April and the other is either the night before or the night after. There was a post on Facebook earlier but it was quickly removed and the 2 shows were also showing briefly on Ticketmaster this afternoon.
David Gray for Custom House Square - 30th August!
Denzel Curry for the National Stadium 23rd June
All Together Now first line-up announcement out this week.
Yeah it was cheaper to see them in the O2 oddly enough you'd think it would be the opposite considering the limited capacity they had on account of the stage taking up 1/2 the standing, tbh I missed out on Jpegmafia tickets for the Olympia so I'm happy he's on the bill for them,
Yeah mad times Robbo doing Croker and LP selling out stadiums, I will say though for LP their absence has only increased the demand, like I think since he's passed they've still been in the top 100 artists on Spotify with 40m listeners a month they're incredibly popular
Thanks. My god, London is one of the cheapest atm. Nosebleeds now £75. Berlin from €199, Frankfurt from 120, Dusseldorf 172.
Fk me. Will look into the festivals. Some rumors they might play madcool, but if they can sell stadiums, extra dates would be financially better of for them.
2025, what a weird year, robbie in croke park and LP doing Stadiums.… I have no words...
Paul Brady playing 2 gigs in Vicar Street in April.
Think Marquee seems a bit ambitious. Know they've sold out City Hall though over Christmas.
On the bill for the Pogues thing next month too
Also doing the Marquee and Galway big top. Seen them a few times including vicar St next month and they always put on a great show
I don't get them, but fair play.
I went in there to have a look, 99-170 for Berlin and it's more or less the same for Paris
London there's 50 quid seated tickets up in the gods and the standing is 100-150 pounds then
If you go on their site click the dates and LPU presale dont need a code to view the price at all thankfully
