I think it will be FF/FG again with god knows who. Hopefully a left wing party
It will be November 15th
Your link is to a general election coverage but technically they are all entitled to be there under the rules that RTE have laid down. 10 is far too much though I think we can all agree on that. There was 7 or 8 last time round
They are an independent channel. They aren't obliged to do fcuk all.
If anything, i think they are giving SF as much a chance of any with the leaders q&a each Wednesday with MLMD being on last and the potential of recency bias that could play a factor with some people
You keep claiming to have some sort of smoking gun, and then it turns out to be a whole load of nothing.
The histrionics here are ridiculous.
Your first article claimed they were the largest "landlord" (they weren't, they were the largest property owner), and now despite being corrected on your claims they were landlords, you are deflecting and claiming that SFs liabilities are more than all other landlords. But even in that article it states their liabilities are from future sale of party offices - the very buildings you slate them for owning!
Damned if you do, damned if you don't it would seem. They are bad for owning party offices, and even worse for planning to sell some!
"A draw will be held to determine where each will stand during the debate. It is broadcast at 9.35pm on RTÉ One television"
Can we please borrow the bowl the GAA use and get Marty to do this live.
Is she an owner of registered residential property = Yes. Therefore the list provided is inaccurate.
The link also is showing who'll be speaking. There is no reason why that couldn't have been done over 2 nights and for fairness, drawn lots to see who was speaking each night in a group of 2*5
It will end up a damp squib, no good to anyone
It doesn't matter. This is only the "fairness" debate and the one that really matters is the 3-way.
I think it will be funny when you see all the online clown accounts who have spent years saying they never watch RTE and shouldnt be forced to pay the TV license
Posting about the TV debate tonight while they watch RTE
Then tomorrow will be posting again about how terrible RTE is
Never once connecting the dots at any stage
This 10-way debate is similar to the Tyson-Paul fight in that everyone knows that it's going to be a terrible watch due to the fundamental structure of the event but it's still going to get big viewership figures.
I'll be watching just for Joan Collins and to outline what her vision is, and Michael Collins to see what gold comes out of his mouth

I agree that people from constituencies that have a bit of local knowledge and are interesting in politics are better sources than Ivan Yates. There's no handy podcast series with that on it though unfortunately.
He's certainly a better predictor than the bookies though. As others have said those odds mean nothing.
Even having completely missed the Sinn Fein surge last time he got 78% of seats correct.
You need to check this again because MLMD is on this Wednesday 20 Nov with MM doing the last leaders Q&A on Wednesday 27 Nov.
Thanks, thought she was on last
You haven't a clue
Funny watching you trying to make a big deal out of it
Anyway, Im off out on the boat for the evening
Except SF arent anti immigration and are probably softer on asylum immigration than FG are...
While some will watch the debate on RTE player on their laptops because they don't have TVs and so aren't forced to have a TV licence.
And to top it all, FF and FG are both saying they wont go into govt with SF anyway.
They are watching RTE, so should pay TV license
Just too f**king stupid to understand that
I dont think so. Independents will benefit from the protest vote.
SF are supporting asylum immigration and I think their voters have finally realised that, despite everyone else knowing this from day one.
Nope, you pay an Irish TV licence only if you own a TV. So you have people owning a TV not watching RTE but having to pay it but people watching RTE on the player that don't have to pay it. Obviously they can pay it if they want, nobody's going to call to the house and insist they get their money back
I assume you would be happy with every member of any party telling any members of the press council in Ireland to **** off if they don't like their questions
Got a leaflet from the local Aontu candidate. Lots of remarks about government waste and "common sense". Not a single mention of pro-life issues. I wonder is this a strategy dictated from central office.
It's as big a deal as you want to make it and it seems to be a big deal for you given the invective and rant. She is an owner of registered residential property and was not on the list the poster posted = fact.
🤣
How do you become a "member of the press council"?
So he was right then.
You mean Cluedo? Yes, he was. I'm not talking about Ivan
No its not a fact. It's an opinion
You are off on one of the rabbit holes, bang away. I dont need to repond to the 101 post.
Off to the boat I go, tis wet tonight
Ahh yeah, we dont watch RTE till we watch RTE 😂
All the waffle from people not watching RTE is just waffle, they all watch it and they are just too miserable to pay for a TV license
