Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Absolutely, but there are also degrees to the behaviour. Adams and Butler reprehensible but not criminal as I believe Kozalek's would be if pursued. As an indicator of how Adams is perceived three pals have said they're going, one male and two women. All lefties and fully aware of his history. Should people not go and how long should a musician be punished for bad behaviour? I, for instance, would not go to see Nick Cave given his actions and comments on Israel nor Kozalek nor P Diddy but I'd see Adams and Arcade Fire. Individual subjective responses I guess.
Doves (minus Jimi) announced full 2025 UK tour. No Dublin or Belfast date
Ah nice one!

Has anyone got the In the Meadows presale link by email yet? No sign yet for me
Biohazard & Life of Agony co-headline.
22nd Feb - Limelight, Belfast.
23rd Feb - Academy, Dublin.
Yeah, I think this stuff has an impact.
Sure we haven't seen Sun Kil Moon play Ireland since the allegations against Kozelek. Doubt he'll play a Vicar Street sized venue again.
Airbourne & Steel Panther both playing Download .. you’d hope they will drop over here for a night or two around the same time.
Yea agree about the resurgence but headliner is bit of a push, I wonder did they have someone else but they pulled out so korn got bumped up. I wouldn't say no to a korn gig over here next summer tho
Korn is having a bit of a renaissance at the moment, it's the limp Bizkit effect, hoping for a Belfast of Dublin gig.
Agreed it's a weak line up!
Very poor…the second area very weak also. Bloodstock running it close this year
I'm going to that gig myself and it looks like great value compared to the Trinity gig, it's mental money for just them on their own and the Deftones gig is gonna be a day of bands..
I paid about €100 for the Deftones Weezer gig in London. Very steep for Weezer alone. That being said they were great supporting SP last year.
Can see stages for bands on the locations page, they're listed under Opus
Is that confirmed? Delighted for them
Yea agree hopefully we get a Jimmy gig over here, probably Olympia. Sleep Token would be great to see and yea they've exploded since their original show in the academy.
Agree 110% ... one of my fav bands all time
The Scratch on 2nd stage is great to see
The whole thing is seriously weak. Worst line up in years.
Didn’t see the Weezer price earlier, that’s a mind boggling price considering them with the Pumpkins was only about fifteen euros more and Hella Mega was only about 20 more for gold circle
Its not a bad lineup tbf
If only Jimmy Eat World would play a 'warmup' show here, Imagine if they had them on with Weezer in Trinity
Seeing Sleep Token in Manchester in 2 weeks, there popularity has skyrocketed since the supposed Cancelled gig here in 2021 (have a feeling maybe the Covid Restrictions at the time may of lead to it)
Well, they didn't play anywhere in the last 7 years, you know, Chester... But now they're like on steroids. I thought they're more suited for malahide or 3arena only, but the last month shows that demand is there. But yeah, Marley would be a safer option on promoter side
Line up confirmed, korn as a headliner is fairly weak
2008 was the RDS show
Don't think they've played here since 2007????? If they did play here I'd guess Marlay or Malahide
I’d say Linkin Park would do well to play at Marlay Park, never a stadium band here
Is LP a new "ACDC in slane" thing? LOL
Also extra date was added in Brasil. 2 x 43k.
Now I think aviva would sell alright.
Rumoured leak for Download 25
I went to see them in the O2 a few weeks ago and the amount that came from around the globe was unbelievable, they also had 150k people in queues for Hamburg and London I don't think they'll have a problem filling that place, they had sleep token supporting them in Paris the other night to 40k people selling that venue out as well
They'd want a pretty strong support for Wembley even with their current hype.
