Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Its a full extensive European tour, I hope it's not ridiculously expensive tho but with the trends these days I'm not getting my hopes up.
There were plenty of tickets available for his last 3arena date, which was on Tuesday. Could be production tickets, idk. Some of my friends missed his gig simply because they didn't know that he's touring. Some promotion, his Netflix documentary and it will sell alright, but don't think it will be an instant sellout. My opinion
ah yeah, but Saturday night Croke park is easier sell for those down the country and I’d expect a decent number coming up for it.
77.50 to 150 a ticket..

Guessing 77 will be up in the rafters. Not sure I'll afford tickets before Xmas so probably try in the new year or closer to the gig.
CAge the Elephant have a short European run in February but no ireland unfortunately
Didn't see Robbie being the announcement, weirdly enough I've been listening to his knebworth album a bit recently, might grab a ticket closer to the date if it suits.
Lottery winners are fcking brilliant as well.
Be up in the gods unfortunately alright, you rarely ever see those tickets the min price ones,
I'd have family that would go alright but they've seen him before in the 3 and like to be fair you'd have a better view/atmosphere in the 3 then you would Croke park (my opinion),
On the other hand if it was a dermot Kennedy, Wolfe tones etc. we would be complaining so can't win
Off here to disembowel myself…how depressing…
But maybe I'm the sad one…..
I went to the Sunday night gig that time 2 years ago.
He actually said himself during that concert something along the lines of:
"You've been great to me Ireland. Great memories of Croke Park, the Aviva and Slane. I can't do those venues anymore unfortunately. Well I can, I just wouldn't fill them"
Let's see! Don't think it'll sell out fast meself.
Dont underestimate the big event whores. Look at Oasis. Easy enough to get Liam G tickets for 80 quid in the Three arena a few months back but the same people who didnt bother going to that are coughing up 500 quid for a ticket in Croker.
Also the week before kids go back to school
'Wild Mammy and Daddy's on tour'
Thanks Robbie no extra Oasis shows cause of you
Paul Heaton is a better singer/song writer than the Gallaghers and certainly Robbie Williams. Tickets less than 50 quid, 3 arena, with none of the layers and layers of bullshit added. Also, he's not greedy.
I'm quite happy Oasis/Robbie/blah soak up all the attention. Makes going to much better concerts easier for the rest of us. 😁
Robbie always puts on a cracking show. Will be a good one.
sure oasis are in Canada that weekend so Robbie had zero effect on oasis. Oasis were only ever going to do 2 Dublin shows, that’s how the tour was planned/routed.
I bought a ticket for Robbie in 3Arena a few days before the gig, mainly because Gary Barlow was doing a gig the same weekend and thought it would make a nice weekend. The two of them told their story/history, with little comments/jokes/jibes about each other. Even though they appear to be friends, they both still have different views on certain things that happened, which made it a very interesting weekend.
Well that's where we are these days. Mind boggling to me but each to their own. Robbie Williams possibly selling out Croke Park. In 2025. Mental.
Depends if they can avoid paying ridiculous hotel prices.
Robbie is one of the biggest acts in history in this neck of the woods tbf. Nearly all his albums go to #1 here and in the UK.
Wiki:
His discography includes seven UK No. 1 singles, and all but one of his 14 studio albums have reached No. 1 in the UK. Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the UK, with two of them in the top 60, and he gained a Guinness World Record in 2006 for selling 1.6 million tickets in a single day during his Close Encounters Tour.
I get it. I just don't get it.
Sure loads of Irish guys sell out Croke Park a number of times every year. And they are brutal singer/songwriters.
I got a really cheap ticket on the day of one of the 3Arena gigs. I would have known most of his songs from the radio, and that was about it.
But the gig was so good. He puts on a fab show, and is a great entertainer. Really gets the crowd engaged. And Elbow are brill as well. I'm really looking forward to it.
His entrance at live at knebworth and during take that progress reunion is awesome. Chills, literal chills. Sadly hes too old for this sh!t now.
Delighted with this
All the Pure Phase shows they're doing in the UK are fully seated. Wonder if it'll be the same here.
nah national stadium is a mixed standing/seated venue
Oh, Elbow are support. Brilliant band especially live. But I won't be paying the huge Croke Park tax and weather lotto to see them.
It can be made into all seater
never been to a concert there that had seating on floor. Once in a blue moon it does happen for like of trad fest show or a podcast thing like second captains
Was at a Ray Lamontagne gig there donkeys years ago and it was fully seated. Few comedians do fully seated too. But yeah, it's definitely the exception to the norm.
I wouldn't be surprised if it is all seated.
