The US House of Representatives have already passed a bill to define criticism of Israel as antisemitism. Germany has recently passed a law that similarly defines some criticism of Israel as antisemitism which is a criminal offence. Many US states and some European countries have made the boycotting of Israeli products illegal.
So hypothetically if one criticises say, oh I don’t know, I know it sounds far fetched, but for arguments sake, the Israeli bombing of hospitals, schools, an attack on an aid convoy, the sniping of children, the rape of prisoners, the murder of doctors and nurses, the shooting of journalists, the attack on UN peacekeepers, etc.
That’s antisemitism.

It is just bizarre to see people ignore the genuine destruction and devastation to so many lives, and then fire out labels of anti semetism at people due to their opinions a comparitively small incident after a football match.
Most people in the world see women and children being bombed on their TV screens or on their phones, and are naturally appalled by that, especially when the war that is going is so one sided and cruel. there is no glory in bombing innocent people. Arresting the doctors in one of the last remaining hospitals, leaving sick and injured people to die - the cruelty in actions like that is unfathomable to most people. The aggressors of these actions, be they Israeli, Russian, whatever, will naturally feel some repurcussions of these actions due to the abhorrent actions of their government.
I haven't read the thread in any detail, but I don't see what the religion of the aggressors has to do with it.
It's incredible how easily manipulated people can be by Israeli propaganda but then again that's how easy it is when you have massive media organisations doing your leg work for you.
That's, literally, what it comes down to. People and organisations are in perpetual fear of being branded "antisemitic" because the disingenuous sling that term around at the drop of a hat, so they jump through hoops to navigate around such a possibility. Whereas no one can deny the antisemtism phenomenon exists - it is odd that although there were over a hundred people, including innocent children, killed as a result of IDF attacks over the past couple of days, many on this thread essentially sweep this devastation under the carpet to focus on violence after a football match, which as bad as it was - resulted in the hospitiliazation of a handful of people. Is there a name for this phenomenon?

It's why the media reporting is under so much scrutiny. They mention the Israeli team fans being targeted and then in the same sentence calling it antisemitic. They never mention the word Jew. So they were targeted for either being football fans (hooliganism) or for being Israeli (xenophobia)

The Sky News fact check report that was subsequently deleted suggested Israeli supporting politicians and media had lied about events in Amsterdam (by not mentioning the violent attacks by Maccabi fans in the city, nor their well documented links to the far right and racist extremists in Israel). None of the things in the Sky report were 'crazy conspiracy theory' stuff….they were pointing out huge holes in the pro-Israel narrative that was being spun by politicians and the media.

Well, in fairness as a voting bloc in the US they are at most 2% of the voters. Nobody is going to win or lose on the basis of their votes over 50 states. White American voters were far more important to his victory, and he didn't mention them at all. Another article on that website complains about a guy who shot an anti-semitic Jew at a demonstration being fired. Their lawyer claims discrimination, but admits it would be a difficult case to prove, as the gun-toter isn't Jewish - while the person he injured is.
