Today was the first full day of my new solar install. Got 10kwh on a 4.4kwp system. I’m happy enough with that!
today from a 7.6 east west array .
we got ….. 0.9kwh.
ran the house off the battery for the day .
An absolutely brutal day, just 2.3kWh produced from a 7.8kWp setup. However with just 1 day left in October my production and usage are bizarrely similar. Tomorrow however I expect imports to exceed exports for the month 🥲
Just got my 7.92kwp south facing setup today. Running rom 12pm, generated 2kwh so im happy enough that means system is working seeing your generation.
Got 5.1 kWh today.
So is this weather Dunkelflaute??

"Winter is coming"
For me and solar output, tomorrow
At least I got one good day since the panels were installed.
1.7kwh today 😩
Barely managed to scrape past 1kwh today. Been grim for the last week.
Didn't quite get to 1kwh. Managed 0.9kwh. Been a bad week.
Managed a record high on my 4th full day of 4.7kwh, looking forward to next year.
7.92kwp south.
Is anyone having a good November? Have only generated 23kWh so far this month!!!! Most days have been >2kWh total…
15kwh for me!! Total disaster!
19kws for the month in the Bishopstown area , South facing panels
Rubbish here too, only 15kWh so far. The clouds have barely parted for the last two weeks.
4.4kWp south facing
Shocking
7.8kWp solar array, south facing. A whopping 20kWh so far this month. Never seen so many cloudy days in my life.
Yesterday was a cracker. 0.6kWh generated. From morning to dusk we were in the middle of a cloud. The joys of living in the mountains!
SInce I installed 2 weeks ago, I have seen the sun once for few minutes. 34kwh produced in November from 18panels south, 10 on ground 8 on roof.
19 kWh this month. 16 panels, SW in Dublin. It’s mad how much more the cloud annoys you when you’ve solar!
29.82kWh so far this month in contrast to 83.64kWh for the same period last year which reinforces just how dull November 24 has been so far. 22 panels - 12E, 10W, 9kWp total. Coastal Northeast. As an aside with the notable exception of July pretty much every month has been worse- sometimes significantly so- this year compared to last.
As of this a.m. my yield is 83kWh so far this month. North West- 2 systems combined 6.4kWp - South facing.
12kw this month, 4.8kw south facing
A whopping 0.8kWh today from my 7.8kWp array. Will we ever see the sun again?
Last few weeks have been pretty dire..looks like might see the sky Monday
just popping in here because ESB Networks/smart meter data showed no generation for a few days, is that possible or could my solar be knocked out?
What does the inverter or app say?
only have ESB data, the app disconnected a while back after a power cut and I havent had the inclination to go up to the attic to reconnect it or see the inverter. Bruised a rib the last time I was up there, Im dealing with a tiny crawl space door high up on a stair case for access to the attic.
ESB Networks site is down for maintenance at the moment but had a few days of no generation so was wondering if thats possible or if it signals an outage
I've no experience with the ESB side of it but they can be prone to gaps in data from what I've seen on here, the best way is to bruise another rib and find out!
lol yeah Ive been meaning to get up there again but I need to invest in some kind of specialised step ladder for stairs or something. The access door is 18 inches by 18 and is around 1.5 meters above the stair below it.
If it's a Solis inverter you have it can be controlled remotely through the app once you get Solis to activate the function. Info on the troubleshooting thread where it would be probably best to continue this.

It's possible that you had no export. ESB can't see what you have generated.
