I am not for a second suggesting that McGregor is innocent, or that he's not become an absolute bellend in recent years, or that he's not potentially guilty of all sorts of other things.
But the quote that he allegedly said "This is how I felt being made to tap out 3 times in the octagon" strikes me as really odd.
I've been in court for many of them.
I agree that many are not even reported which is awful. Support system for victims in this country is poor. Even the way they advertise the services is terrible, no idea about psychology and how to make it sound appealing to a victim.
We are off topic so I'll leave it at that.
Yah, sure……
Reckon I know a lot more then you 😉
That tells me all I need to know about how little you know.
many accusations that are made on further investigation are shown to be false, ridiculous or made out of malice or financial motive. Which in truth wouldnt surprise me as 99% of the time there is zero consequences for making an accusation like this in Ireland.
Completely untrue. False accusations are prosecuted, if and when they happen.
If you dont see how it is, I cant help you. Roll on next week to further revelations im sure
I did open the link and they interpreted and presented the information in a way which suits their narrative. You or anyone posting here doesnt have the first clue why rapes or sexual crimes dont lead to a full conviction so dont try to presume. It could easily be that many accusations that are made on further investigation are shown to be false, ridiculous or made out of malice or financial motive. Which in truth wouldnt surprise me as 99% of the time there is zero consequences for making an accusation like this in Ireland.
best to not feed the troll
How is it interesting?
All of their data is from the CSO, which you'd know if you'd even bothered to open the link.
From them, yes real imparting reporting there. Id like to see how they compiled their "data", how much of it is false accusations where the complainant later decided to withdraw and so on. Its not like they have a genuine vested interest in making the issue seem worse than it is
Really, dont think so, especially after the cross examinations this week & thats before we even see what the other witnesses have to say which id imagine to contradict her further. Also, from what ive read, it doesnt seem she speaks to her friend that she attended the party with anymore, interesting
Fill your boots.

There is plenty of real evidence of it printed every single year.
Any real evidence of this or this just your opinion?
Or possibly wouldn't feel like they are part of the believe her no matter what brigade even 😁
Because noone believes that he is being falsely accused 😁
Notice how nobody answered my question. Anti-mma idiots all over this thread.
Sadly, it's not, at all. The number of sexual assault cases that make it to trial is miniscule. And that's out of the relatively miniscule number that are even reported in the first place.
It's very odd for the DPP not to proceed with a case like this. There's been multiple cases like this with only the accuser and defendant.
Well apparently Turki Alalshikh wants it to happen.
People will always say that..especially about someone as divisive ad CMcG. The DPP said no criminal charges but civil is a much lower burden or proof.
having the case in public?
Isn’t justice supposed to be served in public, for the most part?
If you aren't arguing something, then what are you doing
As am I ffs, I said he has an uphill battle, given history and the bruising
I'm also inclined to believe CCTV evidence
Which isn't capable of lying, if someone was claiming one thing then acting the other way I'd definitely take this on board
Now it's been one side of the argument, so I suppose we'll sit through the other side now
What's the point of having this in public, it's mad
my argument? I’m not arguing anything. I simply am way more inclined to believe her story
The evidence the defense puts is just that evidence
Some is stronger than others
If the evidence was strong, the dpp would not have dropped it, the bruising etc looks terrible but we haven't heard the whole case
At this point it's hard to see what your argument is
It's kippers for breakfast
And I'll be avoiding heading back to a hotel room with McGregor for sure, no matter what the outcome
I don’t think she has testified yet. Her evidence will be important, but from what I read, she didn’t witness any sexual intimacy between the two of them.
Been half following the case, has this Danielle one who was with her been interviewed in court yet? Surely, interesting to see what she says.
There's people claiming he did
So there must be evidence of such
This would be a big black mark against him if he did
