Crawford was overlooked for years despite being unbeaten and looking to fight the best of the best. He was always bitter about being avoided and not earning big money. He wants the biggest purses he can get. He wanted to fight Canelo which would have been a mega fight but Canelo has kept sidestepping him.

I don’t agree that it’s extremely rare that accused persons testify. Unless you specifically mean accused persons in rape/sexual assault cases. Overall cases I wouldn’t have thought it extremely rare.

Not a chance. It's extremely rare for the accused to give evidence in any trial, criminal or civil, in Ireland.

I would also be 99% sure that what that lady is alleging is true, i also doubt it was the first time something like this has happened. He is an entitled maniac who is high most of the time, whatever shred of decency that existed in him has been corrupted by the wealth and fame.

I haven't read all or many of the details. As it's not exactly enjoyable. But a short report I seen said she contacted him at whatever o'clock in the morning. He came and picked her up, they collected a friend and went back to a hotel. If that's true, then it could be damaging in the eyes of the jury, as it's harder to argue she wasn't there voluntary with obvious intentions. Obviously i'm aware intentions can change, consent withdrawn, etc. I'm just think about questions she'll be asked during cross about her intention. Also the next day part, where she hung around and slept with the friend? if that accurate, odd and damaging. Obviously turned down money to get this to court. So don't believe it's a shakedown either.
Why? Crawford is known to be hugely into MMA and does BJJ with top level athletes.

I'm very surprised this has seen a court room. McGregor is loaded and a losing this could cost him a huge amount of money because there's a likelihood that Bud Crawford, the p4p best in boxing, is willing to sign up for a two fight deal, one MMA, one boxing where both would earn $100 million per fight.
Exactly how likely is this? Because it is the first I am hearing of it.
Reading the court details I absolutely believe this woman. This is not a made up shakedown for money.
I used to like McGregor in his early days when he was a fun guy. Ever since he went down the white trash road I lost all respect for him.
However branding him a sexual deviant is another thing. Lots of rich men get accused of this stuff because it's normally easy money where they pay up and an NDA gets signed and it doesn't matter if it's true or not.
Is it a case that this girl cares less about the money and wants to destroy the names of her attackers? I'd admire her greatly for that. Or is it a case that they didn't do it and refuse to pay up?
It'll be tough for the girl to win this because McGregor has an insane legal team.
I'm not taking sides here, with the way he's been acting over the last eight or so years it wouldn't surprise me at all if he did something like this.
But there was no criminal case and I've seen many of them where it's a she said he said situation and it goes to court.
