It seems like a Jewish right wing are determined to start a Middle East war and WWIII . Israel is the equivalent of a Fascist state and it’s time to call them out as such .
Yes I can see Trump telling Israel to wrap things up before he takes office but unfortunately I also see him giving them carte blanche to wipe Gaza off the map in that time. He can wipe his hands of it and say it was Biden and Harris's weakness to blame and then make himself out to be the one bringing peace in the New Year.
I'd fear for how things are going to escalate in the next two months
You could ask what does the US gain from a lot of things Israel does. Bibi thinks this is his moment to change the rules of the game in the middle east. I can see Trump giving him the go ahead to launch further strikes on Iran, if he feels it won't risk the US becoming involved in a war with Iran. As regard Gaza,is Donald going to cut off aid if Nethanyu doesn't abide by his timeline. I can't see that happening.
Considering his son-in-law wants Gaza cleared for beachfront property:

I'd imagine he'll want things wrapped up quickly so he can build a Trump tower on the bodies of Palestinians…. I mean Hamas terrorists….
Bibi for all his faults has played the Americans well. Israel didnt attack Iran during the last Trump presidency so I'm not sure even now he will give them free reign to bomb the hell out of them. Perhaps it was bad for business or the gulf states objected. Gaza now seems doomed.
The lobbyists run America and the arms industry lobby group is one of the biggest. These Pentagon contractors capitalise on conflict.
Gaza and Hamas are in for a rough two months for sure. One game changer within Israel would be the return of the hostages. Gallant getting fired yesterday was no accident. He is trying to secure his position in power this very week. If Hamas returned the hostages, the heat will get turned up on Bibi. Really interesting piece in the Times of Israel on it today.

What do you think is going to happen Cluedo?
AIPAC runs America and a lot more of the world than we realised, the war will continue.
Israel will continue it's genocide and increase it's occupation/settlements. Trump won't care. The arms will keep flowing to Israel. Murder is big business.
iran currency already dropping on news of trump election and potential for more severe sanctions
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s currency fell on Wednesday to an all-time low as Donald Trump clinched the U.S. presidency again, signaling new challenges ahead for Tehran as it remains locked in the wars raging in the Middle East.
The rial traded at 703,000 rials to the dollar, traders in Tehran said, breaking through the record before recovering slightly later in the day to 696,150 to $1.
Is the US supplying arms to Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis?
Always amusing when a supporter of israel trips into comparing "the most moral army in the world" to Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis
Where am I doing that?
Mod note:
post deleted and warning issued
BIBI has free rein now. Europe can't say or do anything as Trump holds the NATO purse strings. It's almost like bibi and the US allowed October 7 to happen as a reason for Israel to claim all of Palestine . But it has worked out that way.
But that's getting into conspiracy theories level .
Cue Trump Levant golf course and Tower
Interesting scenes in Tel Aviv tonight
Did you read the article. He made the point all the money spend on tunnels and ammunition was a waste.
Do not have much time for Trump or Kushner but HAMAS and the Palestinian's are 50% of the fault, Hezbollah and tge Palestinian's have created havoc in Lebonnen as well.
Not seeing this picked up by anyone else yet
Sky News have it on their socials
The seeds for this were sown when Bibi tried to use the US election as a facade to sack Gallant. Everyone associated with the military adored Gallant and he was one of the few voices of reason around Bibi. This could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
This means that the occupation has cut off large areas of the Gaza Strip for the purpose of occupation and settlement, and for this reason it has recently begun extensive demolition operations of buildings in order to clear the area in a manner similar to the Netzarim axis.
Looks like the first phase of the carving up of Gaza is underway.
Is there anything to be said for Hamas ending their war of aggression and releasing all the hostages? Or is it best to keep fighting until there's nothing or no one left?
Hamas will fight to the death, I fear, and there is no scenario I could see where they would release the hostages. It is their only negotiation chip. But I think Israel and its supporters already realise this. So this argument of "we will only stop killing civilians in Gaza if Hamas give up" is moot.
It is obvious that having a smaller population in Gaza or reducing its geographical size is of a long term benefit for the Israelis, so making the argument that they should only stop when Hamas giving up, benefits them. Under that scenario people can in good conscience support the killing of another 40k Gazans, or even greater numbers.
if any hostages are alive, Hamas won’t give them up, Israel won’t stick to any agreement.
End game for Israel is to settle Gaza with good Jewish settlers, under the pretext of security for Israel
A lot of the military top brass in Israel want the war to end.
Nethanyu is resembling a dictator more and more each day. The buck is refusing to hold an enquiry over October 7th because "Mr Security" doesn't do personal responsibility- it's for others to fall on their sword not him
Hamas already released loads. And they've stated that they are open to negotiations which would release the rest.
The israeli government have said that getting the hostages back is not their primary concern. At this point I think more hostages have been killed by israeli air strikes and bullets than have been rescued by them.
And they don't care about civilian casualties. Remember the three israeli hostages that were shot, when stripped to the waist, shouting in hebrew, and waving white teeshirts? The soldiers that shot them got counselling. They didn't get disciplined at all. Because shooting three unarmed men who are surrendering was within their rules of engagement.
I think you are 100% correct.
So Hamas should keep fighting until the bitter end, because Israel can't be trusted to honour any agreement?
ultimately no as it makes no difference.
israel never cared about the hostages and hamas is an extension of the israely government anyway seeing as it's a proxie.
in fact, hamas probably kept the genocide of gaza and reoccupation at bay for quite some years until now.
yes, and they should continue fighting after it.
the more they keep fighting, the more and more aggressive and out of control israel becomes, the more and more it falls on america to support them as the rest move away dispite american intimidation, and the more younger americans become sick of it such that eventually a future president says enough is enough.
Speaking of younger Americans , I am not sure where I heard it first, but it was mentioned that in a poll of young Republicans 52 per cent supported a suspension of military aid to Israel.
there is no end game for Hamas, as of now, they are 90-95% gone? however Israel will tell the world they are defending themselves and only option is to clear and resettle Gaza,
