I've decided to sell my Avensis as is. Heaps loads of work to to maintain for the 4 years I've owned. Before I put up on dung deal, if anyone here is interested just drop me a pm👍
Out of curiosity, how much will you ask?
What do you think it will need for an NCT?
1k is fair I think. Failed the NCT on9
that CV boot & bulb gone in the rear light cluster [ tbh,it's had water in since the day I bought & think it needs new seals to fix properly].
That test was about a month ago & was driven for another two weeks after that. Been parked up in the driveway the last few weeks since then
Great price. It'll fly out at that.
A bit tight on test, looks tidy enough.

Set myself a challenge to find the youngest Bangernomics car. A 2015 Vauxhall Insignia, and a 2015 Opel Mariva (whatever that is😂)

Well done , now try and do it a avoiding an Opel 😉,
I know people who've driven Opel's for years with no major dramas, but I've a dislike of pretty much all of them ..
Well I didnt get anywhere near 2015, this is a 2013, but I also threw in that it was within about an hour from my house ,

"Verified private seller"....150 previous ads... 🤔
So private ,as in doesn't really want certain people to know ? 😉
In fairness they may not all be cars ,he could be buying and selling all sorts of things over the years ..
The seats and wheels are colour coded 🙂
Is there a reliable way to confirm the range on these?

A test drive
How far do you go on a test drive. Ok I'll be back in an hour.
You only need to discharge the battery by 50% and multiply the trip by two to get the total approximate range. Just drive it a few exits up the M1 and back. Shouldn’t take much more than 45 minutes.
45 mins are you for real. If someone test drove my car for 45 mins I'd have thought they stole it. It's real life not some tv show.
ahh…private sale maybe but with dealer I'd be taking it for half an hour at least.
Its a dealership, there’s nothing remotely wrong with a 45 minute test drive. Particularly in a short range EV like the Leaf.
I never looked at the ad and assumed it was a private sale.
Good job.
I am in the market for an auto hatch or compact SUV, but seems like there is f*all under 3k. Nisaan Leafs are all that's flooding my search results.
In The dash pic in the ad ,on the right side, there are big bars and small bars. The big bars tell you how charged the battery is and the small bars tell you the overall state of battery degradation. The small bars start new at 12. I count 9 in your pic which equates to around 60miles.
Toyota Prius. Increase your search to €3.5k and negotiate the seller down to €3k if thats your budget.
Looks like a well minded Saab

Nice find. Looks like a whole lot of car for very little money. Buyer beware, but I'd be all over that if I were in the market for a diesel. (I think its the Fiat sourced 1.9 150bhp diesel soo it will have a DPF and all the trouble that entails).
That's great value and the ad seems legit too. It says 3 owners, but it's a UK import, so just be aware it's 3 in Ireland
A few strategically placed air fresheners hanging around. Might have been parked for a while and smell damp, or check carpets to see if its damp or wet etc from leaking seals
They're the Fiat sourced engine alright, but the 2006 one "shouldn't" have a DPF, although there were a few here and there that seemed to. Great engine too, slightly sluggish to start, so if anyone takes a look at it, this is normal. They need a good battery and good starter. Other thing that regularly gives problems are the metal coolant pipes across the front of the engine. They tend to rust/corrode and cause leak issues. Just take a look at this also

If I didn't already have a full driveway here, I'd be VERY tempted at that price!
Low mileage Avensis:

Not a bad find. Few things that stick out for me
Its an import (Speedo is in MPH)
Theres an "interesting" gap in the NCT's from 2020 to 2024 while it was clearly still being driven. Were they failures or was it being driven around illegally, and what else did that owner not bother with at that time? also from the towbar and scratches all around the rear bumper, its done a bit of trailer work in its 21 years.
"Immaculate condition throughout"
