Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Was in the gold circle for Pearl Jam, and in the main standing area for Nightwish - the venue was well organised and the sound was good in both areas.
Zurich venues have a 100dB limit. You can also buy a beer as you leave and drink it on the tram home :) And no constant yapping in the crowd.
Definitely thinking of going over myself seeing as its the May long weekend here.... Great live band
Hey everyone. What's your opinions on inhaler?
They’ve said they’re touring next year but not festivals until 2026, so it’s standalone Summer gigs or Autumn arenas. I think you’ll be right about the latter. And I think Marley is 40k, that’s the usual figure mentioned here. Never been. Maybe a stretch for the Cure, not sure, but a lot of recent hype and a big fan base might sell that out. I think they’d need a bigger support band than their regulars The Twilight Sad. Despite it being further out I’d prefer Malahide. DART good and everyone I know has had hassle getting to or from Marley.
.
Yeah, I'd prefer Malahide too. Marlay is a pain for me, based on where I live.
Ah I'd love to see them back in Malahide. Great day there last time, Just Mustard and Ride on support, myself and my missus had a deadly day. He seems to be hinting at the Autumn though.
Was class. Even better at EP 2012, possibly the greatest ever gig at that festival and never to be repeated.
A few popped up on the resale over the weekend, I had one in my cart but couldn't justify 600 with the fee's to sit up in the gods, hopefully with Xmas on the way people sell them off but you only get paid after the event happens, I reckon more will pop up the weeks leading up to it
Cool show next year, would love either to play here
WeezerWhinting at more eu/UK shows....please include here
Deftones also include here please
2 of my favorite bands in one stadium. This is very good news for a Monday morning
Snow Patrol playing Cork and Belfast next summer
First(?) Kilmainham announcement...
You get paid within 5 to 7 working days of the ticket being sold
Amble announced for the Marquee
Noah Kahan playing Bst July 4th do dublin date surely that week, possibly marley park
Autumn next year by the sounds of this https://www.nme.com/news/music/the-cure-2025-world-songs-lost-world-tour-2029-anniversary-tim-pope-documentary-3802253#:~:text=Robert%20Smith%20shares%20plans%20for,tour%20%E2%80%93%20and%2050th%20anniversary%20plans&text=The%20Cure's%20Robert%20Smith,50th%20anniversary%20as%20a%20band.
The Arcade fire set in 2005 would be up there as best of the festival also.
Rose City Band giving Ireland the skip it seems
Roy Keane with Roddy Doyle for the Marquee 7th July
In the meadows announcing a 'cultural icon' soon.
Irish based or somewhere else?
Yeah I've sold plenty on there before and it's been like 2-3 weeks after the event you get the money, sold a ticket for Kasabian in the Olympia before they cancelled it to illness and it wasn't until they played the gig the following year I got the money back haha, it's in escrow unfortunately until they play the gig which is ridiculous
Iggy Pop?
That definitely used to be the way, but I think they've changed now. I sold a Fontaines ticket (for the December gig) a few weeks ago and got the money in a few days. Not sure it's across the board, but hopefully
Had crossed my mind, he does have Bank holiday Monday free.
In Glasgow the next day.
Wish he would play a non festival date here
Sold an EP ticket around May and it was in the bank account a week later.
Makes sense, plenty of young Irish punkster bands that would fill the support in a cost effective way.
Where did you see that?
Iggy played All Together Now in 2023 which is also a Aiken/POD event so could well be him
