New Kerri Russell series. Lands on April 20.
Just caught up on all seasons over the last few weeks. It's an okay show. Lots of contrived plot points when they are trying to be serious, the whole submarine base in Scotland thing in season 2 was absolute nonsense for various reasons but whatever. What I do like is some of the absurd humour i.e. "Vigorous, Vigorous, Vigorous"
The plot was a bit over the top, but I guess it has to be considering reality at the moment.
Acting is very good, some of the supporting characters deserve more screentime.
Overall it was enjoyable, though a tad predictable.
We've never seen Penn's conservation with Roylan.
Still great fun.
Finished this last night.
It was poor enough by comparison to earlier series. The pace was all over the shop, smash cuts half the time and ponderous stage-like set pieces at others. The plot was a muddled follow-on from the original Brexit /Security/ UK-US relationship thing, and got more outlandish as time went on.
And maybe I'm becoming a prude in my old age, but Madame Ambassador's horny teenager-like love life was grim enough to behold. Have more respect for yourself love.
Enjoyed the new season but felt the last episode was a bit of a let down. A bit too complicated and didn't make much sense to me
Planning on doing this myself today, what better way to spend a day off 😅
8 episodes in one day 😂
Season 3 arrived today and I binged watched all 8 episodes today it's another great season also Kerri Russell is just so pretty.
Ends on another great cliffhanger that sets up a season 4.
Full trailer.
In the White House watching her all the time - October 16th.
You could have been a bit more...
... DIPLOMATIC there!
just finished series 2 it’s very enjoyable, I didn’t expect Hal to kill the president
Looks fantastic. Time to start this from the beginning.
Fantastic, one of the best shows on lately. Glad it hasn't been axed like Kaos.
As if the West Wing comparisons weren't already obvious, now we have Alison Janney AND Bradley Whitford.
Teaser for 3 arriving in the Autumn.
Renewed for 4th

Finished it last night.
It's a bit preposterous but the acting and script are top notch (West Wing lite maybe?)
I read that Season 3 is currently in production, so hopefully less than a year. What a production, though, the locations were impressive. They got to film inside the actual US Embassy, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Foreign Office in Westminster.
I really enjoyed it, and Season 3 should be fun:
Now that Grace Penn is President, and she knows that the Wylers know she was behind the bombings, their lives are in clear and present danger. Kate is not going to be Veep, and Billie Appiah (Rayburn's Chief of Staff) is probably to be replaced by Penn's man.
One of my favourite moment is having Penn (Janney) chew out Wyler about her appearance, the bit in the trailer about the paperclip ..!
quick death
I though Roy Kinnear stole every scene he was in as the PM.
Looking forward to season 3 now sadly we probably have to wait a year for it to drop.
Keri Russell and Alison Janney...doesn't get much better than that. Pity we didn't the 8 episodes.
ep2 Scotland? this is all about Scotland
bit lost in the first ep with all the names being thrown around that I cant remember from the first season
Absolutely fan-effing-tastic finale!
Season 2 is only 6 episodes which were all fantastic and some really great acting by all involved.
Excellent. I really enjoyed the 1st season and hadnt heard anything about it since until seeing this thread randomly. Great show.
All episodes released today!
Time to pump up the TV loud to block out the noise of Dublin fireworks and binge on this!
Allison Janney joins the cast for season 2 which starts October 31st.
