Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Ana issued statement saying she has podcast and writing contractual commitments that mean she could not do the reunion shows when the guys wanted to do it.
The sound gets turned down at 9pm to appease the local residents. Always has and it’s VERY noticeable. At the main stage circa 5pm you’ve got to lean in close to hear what your pal is saying. At 10pm you’ve can hear their every word from a metre away. And everybody else’s yapping also. It’s lessened loads of gigs for me there (Sigur Ros, Pixies, LCD, etc) irrespective of where I’m located in the field. I like the park, the area too with some great bars very close by. The walk to Mile End tube is only ten mins and it’s usually well laid out there with decent food tents for craft beer irrespective of who’s promoting the gigs. That sound reduction though……..
Had the same experience.. Johnny Marr blew me away in the afternoon and The Strokes felt so lacklustre as the headliner. Nice little festival if they could sort out the sound though.
Doves teasing an announcement 13.11.24. Hopefully they'll be on tour and pop over here, great live band
'Reunions' are the order of the day it seems
Saw Scissor Sisters all the way back at Oxegen 2007. They were enjoyable tbf, can see a 2nd date been added as there music has still featured in pubs around the country for years
Same night as Supergrass in the Olympia. Maybe a little of the same 'target audience'
Bon Jovi touring again next year ?
would love to see them again
2nd date added for Zach Bryan in London, on sale Friday.
They had a sign up for presale thing up when the album was up for preorder iirc
Inhaler tour announcement coming tomorrow morning I assume
Has to be, either 3Arena for one night again or the Olympia 3 or 4 times
New song is not great. But similar to the rest of their output.
Kendall Calling as announcing their line up tomorrow so maybe they will be included on that
Malahide or St Anne’s would be my guess. No chance it’ll be the Olympia as they’d need to do a week or more there to match demand, they sold out 3 Arena last time. Suppose a couple nights a 3 Arena is an option too
I don’t think the song is similar to the rest of their stuff but I do agree it’s not very good.
I was being cheeky ;) . I meant new stuff is also not great, same as their old stuff.
Just spotted that on the Twitter machine. Exciting. They are class.
No Irish date for Inhaler and the Kendall Calling lineup is quite good I think, for the festival it is.
wouldn’t be surprised if they end up as sub headliner at EP and do 3 arena in the autumn/winter next year
They're playing ziggo dome in Amsterdam, very ambitious. A big stretch to sell all those tickets across Europe.
looks like the did the AFAS venue on last tour, maybe the promoters/team have confidence that new album will launch them to even higher echelon
Are they that big??? To got on a tour as extensive as that??
(they wouldnt be on my musical radar at all)
Honestly don't know, they're releasing their third album.
Have listened to their top 10 streamed songs in Spotify and it's bang average. Less than.
I don't know one song by heart from their previous and their new release is imo woeful.
They obviously have a market somewhere.
Good live band with some great songs released along the way. Ziggo Dome seems a massive venue but seeing as they’ve left their old producer for a new one (Anthony Genn for Kid Harpoon) I assume they have quite a bit of money behind this campaign and will get a lot bigger (or is the plan anyway).
They have Blossoms as support for their mainland Europe dates
5th Sounds From A Safe Harbour festival dates confirmed, lineup is usually drip fed from around February.
Madness,
Blossoms have far more songs and also radio friendly.
If Blossoms can't hit the big time I don't know how Inhaler could.
Daddy Bono has connections
Not relevant to their success. Those guys put in the hours. I first saw them supporting Touts at a small gig in the Róísín Dubh. Charting with the crowd during the Derry lads slot. Decent kids, no airs. Back doing their own gig 9 months later but I didn’t bother as not a fan.
Caught them at EP after and decent, a good sound and Elijah has a great voice. I’m not into them but a parent’s influence can’t sell 13,000 tickets for the 3Arena so less of the bitching please.
Can't wait! Is it that early that line up would start being released? Thought it was in around May b
