Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
Man, delighted and gutted to hear that. Had gig lined up for a while but between work, family and travel I just couldn't pull the trigger on buying tickets.
For what it's worth, if it was the Button Factory you were thinking of I don't think it'll be as good as last night. The loudness of the band in a tiny venue covered up the frailties of his voice that'll probably be more exposed in Dublin and Cork. I could be wrong, and hope I am. Huge difference between the gigs in Limerick and Galway, the same view from three of us who were at both. All the best to those going tonight and tomorrow, wish I was with you.
I definitely envy you guys who get to so many gigs!
Roisin Dubh is a doable trip, but generally not possible on days ending in Y
I see there's a handful of tickets for Max Richter in National Concert Hall this evening and tomorrow on off chance anyone's looking
Brilliant response from Ticketmaster
Utterly pathetic response, but no surprise whatsoever. That's Ticketmaster, and the modern world, all over
What exactly did you want them to say?
That it is legit and it's OK to click links in same?
Anything, to be honest. It's just word soup, and so many company's customer services are like it now, it just annoys me
I'd say that was mentioned earlier but 🤷♂️
Not sure why the hullabaloo, the email was from the ticketmaster.ie domain.
They used to have good support, for Ireland at least anyway, pre Covid, you could ring them and speak to an Irish person.
I know they sacked most of their UK staff during Covid, and replaced them with incompetent offshore staff working for peanuts.
Outrageous they still aren't contactable by phone, would cost too much I guess, Michael Rapino needs his pay God help him.
Would have been nice for them to say Yes we the Company you are talking to did or did not issue that mail to you our customer
Dobby is a bad elf
It's from a sub-domain of ticketmaster.ie it's perfectly legit.
Confirm whether the mail was sent by Ticketmaster or a scammer.
Are they not the same thing?
This guy..
Well I just clicked on my ticketmaster app and it says to download a newer version. But don't blame the OP for being cautious with that email
This is what I'm getting when I click the link.
And the old app has stopped working.
Ar$eh0les!!
Download from play or apple store
Same thing happens
I was at mercury rev in Cork last night - wow what a treat - loved the way they were jamming on stage - wow..
i am gonna create a thread for Mercury Rev - would love if those of ye interested could post there
A matter of degrees. 😀
Great gig, i think its the 6th time i’ve seen them in Cork, 1st was at Sir Henrys when Deserters Songs was 1st toured. Fantastic 7 piece band last night, and loved the trumpet, or was it a cornet being played(see below) by the guitarist, his voice has deteriorated a little, but overall a great gig.
These reviews are killing me knowing have to miss tonight
A Cornet.
Great review.
yeah he was fabbb..
Anyone seen Tom McRae live? Like his stuff and considering his Monday gig.
Therapy? at the Olympia in Dublin on Halloween night were electric. So many heavy set middle aged men moshing :)
It's about the fifth time I've seen them and it was the best. Andy Cairns has had his personal ups and downs over the years but I thought they were very professional.
Arborist supporting PSB tonight. Listening to him here. Great stuff. He's been around a while, surprised he hasn't got a bit more attention.
