Hopefully he plays some WDF events etc before going back to the PDC. He's too good and too young to retire but the Super Series is just matches for people to gamble on, although with a fair few quid for the winner.
Leighton Bennett has been banned for match fixing. What a fall off this fella had before his career ever even got started.
The few videos that I've seen on a Twitter are blatantly obvious that it was match fixing. I'm surprised it took so long for him to be suspended.
Ya I've seen them myself, near treble 3 going for a bull and a few darts at double 16 weren't even in the camera frame.
He has form for lots of **** behaviour anyway, good riddance
Jesus Luke Littler is in every poster for the PDC events nowadays
There's a random programme about Newry Pub Darts/players on tonight on BBC1 at 19.30. Was shown on BBCNI earlier in the month, but now getting a network showing, so presumably someone thinks it is good.
BBC One - Our Lives, Series 8, Darts City
Belfast 6th Feb 2025 (opening night)
Dublin 20th Feb 2025
Hopefully they bring in a new format. Found it got very stale after a few weeks
This year's league had record viewership on sky (because of Luke littler)so there will be no change of format
https://www.live-darts.com/pdc-darts-news/the-masters/masters-to-be-expanded-in-2025/
The Masters expanding too 32 players
More importantly it's becoming a ranked event which is great news. There's far too many unranked pointless tournaments in the calendar.
Yeah nice to have a meaningful tournament quickly after the post World Championship lull
Sum going for Littler
Sky will go into overdrive, he will love the Grand Prix format
With him not defending prize money next year I think he will be world No1 sometime next year.
Not unless he wins the worlds. He only has 347k on the Order of Merit as some of his wins are non-ranking, which is over 1.3m behind Humphries. He has yet to win a major ranking title.
Some going from him though.
Some 16 year old called Ryan Branley playing serious darts in the modus super series.
boooo, ITV coverage extended another year…
The camera work is awful on itv but I enjoy the coverage, not sure who else could do a better job for the tournaments they show
Is PDC TV worth the subscription?
Definitely is if your looking for tickets to the Worlds and other big events. Doesn't guarantee tickets but you get first chance to purchase
Coverage is great and with a VPN can watch a lot of the tournaments
More £££ for the Hearn and Co

Great more rubbish games to watch. Some of the qualifying matches at the moment are brutal to watch. They have too many players in it as it is.
All about the money for PDC and hearn
the expansion will also help them keep the World Championships in Ally Pally without having to pay out rent for another venue. Im guessing from 2026 the Worlds will start 11th/12th Dec
Could be a lot of **** in the early rounds as someone else pointed out
There's already a lot of **** but now they'll have the seeds scattered through it
Now further expanded to every tour card holder + regional ranked players. Wednesday will be a qualifying day with 8 places available to qualify for the last 32. Thursday onwards is the main tournament. Also will be using set play rather than legs, but sets will be best of 3 legs. And has Wimnau sponsorship like the old BDO Masters event.
Winmau World Masters to return as PDC event undergoes radical rebrand | PDC
I love the sound of this new format. The heyday of the original World Masters was before my time but the PDC needs more set play tournaments as this is great to see, even with the shorter sets.
One less non-ranking tournament as well.
Love the look of that, much better than a non ranking event
Wasn't this always on though ?
No it wasnt, invite only and as such not ranked.
