Don't get your knickers in a knot lad. You said that you said something in a previous post which you didn't.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭rrs

Robbie Brennan is leaving Kilmacud after the County final on the 20th. Graham is probaly lined up for a tilt at Leinster. But he could also be in County management. All Ireland club is finished in january.

Again, the only person “getting their knickers in a knot” is yourself.

I’m not sure what you think you are gaining by continuing this.

“You said that you said something in a previous post which you didn’t”.

Again, we’ll go back to the question you haven’t answered for a third time.

“The man runs the place and has free run of Breffni Park. He’ll tell them what he is doing before they’ll tell him anything”.

On what basis is that NOT me saying that the employee holds the cards and not the employer?

The subject must be a bit personal to you, like our Unbelievable Geoff during the week.

Would Brennan not just remain and double job until he’s finished with Kilmacud fully? Isn’t that what Graham did for a while?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭rrs

Yeah Graham did that ,and Malachy O Rourke is staying with Glen until their runs end. But Brennan said he would step down after the Dublin Championship when he took the Meath job.

So, nail your colours to the mast lads, who is saying Ramor and who is saying Hon the Lough?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 228 ✭✭mogue77

I think Ramor will sneak it I think Ramor backs will match up better with the crosserlough forwards than the other way around, ado Cole could cause problems in the air for the lough fullback line, pity about the weather hopefully it will be a good close game.

Lol. Fair enough, I'll leave it there.

Mayo final and Fermanagh final pulled today due to weather. It's a shame Cavan going ahead as it'll surely keep people away and potentially make it a lesser game. Hopefully somehow it'll be entertaining and may the best team win. I wouldn't know enough about the teams to call it one way or the other.

Personally I think they should have pulled the game today. Weather looking to improve during the week and could be good next weekend.

I am still confident of a Ramor win. Although it will be tight. Wouldn't count out a draw

Yeah the wind was to get stronger as the day went on. Making the call at 11 was a bit quick. Hopefully a decent game anyway.

    Tyrone final off now too.

our club senior final is our centrepiece and isn’t just another fixture to get out of the way. It’s disrespectful to both teams. Game will be a lottery with this wind and no walk ups, wouldn’t be surprised if it has to be abandoned or even pulled yet.

Cav stream 17e for the senior final and if interested in the minor another tenner.

In my humble opinion lough the better footballers ,ramor the better team,,I'll sit on the fence and go for a low scoring draw,9 or 10 points each

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 607 ✭✭✭mylestheslasher

Ramor really really poor with the wind advantage, no pace to their attack and taking terrible options. Officials very poor though. Missed 2 clear 45s to Ramor, buying every single time wasting effort from the Lough. The keeper has 2 balls at his goalpost yet continues to run out to the corner flag to collect the ball. Surely officials should be wise to that. Lough have to be delighted with that half, winning all the dirty ball around middle and using ball very well. Can only see one winner from here unless Ramor bring something exceptional in the 2nd half.

Well done to the lough. They weren't great either but they dud enough in the end and i suppose it's just about winning. Poor spectacle for the neutrals.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭rrs

I was at the game. Well done to Crosserlough they were more hungry. It was terrible conditions. All of Ramors subs i think were players going off injured. No regard for the welfare of players playing that game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,002 ✭✭✭celt262

Looked like the two earliest ones and O'Connell were carrying injuries going into the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 614 ✭✭✭Thunderbirds

Bradley not injured if brought back on?

he wasn't no.. Meant to exclude him.

what was the rush playing the game. ?Tyrone, longford, fermanagh some of the finals that were called off

Fair play to the lough. Better team on the day won. Although there's no way that game should have went ahead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭rrs

The County Pro seemed bullish about it going ahead yesterday as if there was no warnings. Armagh called off their Senior today after the intermediate final.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,921 ✭✭✭Bummer1234

Shame on the county board for ruining what could have been a great game of ball…Any final that is 0-2 to 0-2 at h/t is sure a bad sign of a game!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,449 ✭✭✭baconsarnie

Fair play to the Lough, weather conditions are atrocious for both teams but absolutely no sense going ahead with it today.

Congrats to Cavan_King, there won't be a passive agressive thread started on the Cavan Gaa section of boards.ie for weeks :)

He'll definitely be able to relax and unknot those knickers.

I hope they can give ulster a rattle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 108 ✭✭quidel7

Wonder what the attendance was today?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,002 ✭✭✭celt262

The only thing that was worse than the football on display which was down to the conditions was the commentary on Cavstream.
