12 till 3 Lunchtime but I feel the Foley show could be debated as JP and Ann/Adele were never billed in the credits so to speak

I love the confidence you have in me! That said, it sounds very unusual to have three official presenters for an afternoon/drive slot on Irish radio and I cannot ever remember coming across, or hearing about, such an arrangement. It could well be a first.
Surely if Backhurst was trying to save money for RTE, he would tell 2fm bosses to stop paying 3 presenters for doing a job that 1 could do.
It seems to be just a temporary move to me, at the moment.

I am almost sure that the 3 game on hosts were never on together but that Marie Crowe with host with either Ruby or Donnacha on a rotating basis
what I have noticed a few times over the past few months when I have tuned in on Saturday nights on 2FM - it is scheduled "The Spring sessions" with Mr Spring 10pm to 12 midnight, though for the 10pm to 11pm hour it plays just current chart / R n' B music, not dance music with Mr Spring as you would expect.
Shortly after the 11pm to 12 midnight hour, his links kick in and dance music.
Any reason why this is ?
Am I right in thinking that for the first time in it's 45 yr history, 2fm has no big names on the schedule ? It seems to be using an iradio/beat102103 business model but with the comfort blanket of the licence fee

but Beta was a temporary replacement of Lottie and the lad who were (it turns out) a term replacement for the two johnnies. Doesn't cost anything as the three of them are on the 2fm paybill but again you have to wonder wtf is going on in the managers office/mind.

the longer they "dont look at" 2fm the more i'd be worried for it - it becomes a low hanging fruit to be cloaed eaily, a bit like how Irish Rail kept some of their single line workings withering on the vine.
