If they really are intent on the Iranian regime falling from within then I wouldn't believe any assurance about not attacking oil facilities because by crippling the economy that's how you foment opposition from within along with assistance from intelligence agencies. The Likud Charter and Hamas Charter are quite similar in that they both share similar visions for the other side. If you were a Likud Stratgeist you might deem October 7th as the perfect scenario to harden attitude towards a two solution because it targetted the very people who were receptive to the idea. These were people Likud and Bibi had no great love for.
It is off the table for now, but as we see with other conflicts hardened attitudes can moderate in time. For that to happen the extremists on both sides need to be gone as they are implacably opposed to any sort of compromise.

There’s no advantage to supporting either side for Ireland. The Israeli’s hate us for the link between Irish nationalists and Palestinians. The Palestinians hate us because we aren’t Muslim. It’s a zero sum game for the country.
The most effective way and quickest way would be to target the oil sector from an Israeli perspective, but that risk an oil crisis. Joe won't want that before an election. So if he has any influence that will be off the table, but as we have seen thus far Bibi doesn't care about Joe's domestic concerns if it serves his interests.
