But they kicked people off thire land and their claim is that 2000 years ago their ancestors lived there. For most of them, their ancestors didn't live there. You know who's ancestors lived there 2000 years ago? The Palestinians. Even Ben Gurion said that the inhabitants of Palestine would have been jewish people/ Canaanites who converted to christianity and islam. So please stop by saying that palestine is ancient jewish land and that jewish people have any right to it based on the fact that mythical ancestors lived there.

Who cares what we think about the Jewish claim to Israel? What matters is what they think, and that influences their policies. Arguing about it here is a distraction from events on the ground there. Maybe they wouldn't be as hard-line about it if it wasn't for the threats of genocide against them, but that's the situation today.
