It seems like a Jewish right wing are determined to start a Middle East war and WWIII . Israel is the equivalent of a Fascist state and it’s time to call them out as such .
We can only hope that Israel collapsed under economic pressure, mass migration and international sanctions and boycotts. Unfortunately the chances of the iterational community stepping in and putting manners on them seems slight.

There will be very few to little sanctions put on Israel. Ireland & Spain boycotting Israel will have no impact on their economy. Also, if you're talking about sanctions, Ireland should be putting sanctions on US companies operating in Ireland that are indirectly contributing to the American War Machine responsible for thousands of innocent lives lost. Until that happens, Ireland has as much blood on their hands as America.

Hamas being eliminated will make zero difference to the region. Some other organisation will just step into the breach in it's place with the support of Iran. Israel is good at killing innocent women and children in tents and buildings but lacks the minerals to stand up to Iran. Typical bully behaviour.

Israel was gearing up to been the endpoint for a silk road type trading rought from India, a plan they had been working on in coordination with Saudi for years. It was the basis of their economic plans for the coming decades. Gone - completely collapsed and permanently dead in the water.
Massive amounts of tech industries have closed their doors and are going elsewhere along with all their skilled workforce. Israel is a basket case which will be chocked full of unproductive religious fanatics.
Its already been declared junk bond status which will make it impossible to borrow money on the international markets and unable to continue to finance it's war efforts.
The outlook is dire.
What Israel have done will just create several more Hamas type organisations in the future. There will be literally hundreds of thousands of young children now who will become members and eventually take their revenge. Bibi miscalculated and now is afraid to tackle Iran.
So they'll be obsessed with killing Jews, gays, beating women. no change then from any other time.

They never left. They were still considered occupiers by the UN because they controlled every single aspect of Gaza (borders, exports/imports, international aid, utilities, people movement etc). They were still considered an occupying power. We established this in this thread long before they put troops and tanks back in.

My reason for suggesting that the influence of Netanyahu in government is limited is because there are just so many groups, ideologies and indeed entire national governments (e.g. Iran, Nicaragua etc) out there that couldn't care less who is in charge of Israel and what their policies are.
Even on this board, a lot of the hostility seems to be against Israel per-se, not any particular politician or "wing" in its politics. There's so much hatred that we've seen people in this thread cheerlead for the terrorist mafia dictatorship of Iran to get nuclear weapons, regardless of the round of nuclear proliferation that would necessarily follow, and despite the fact that Iran is actively fuelling a genocide in Ukraine, as well as all of the groups attacking Israel.
Dunk on Netanyahu all you want - fine by me, he probably deserves at least some of it - but a change in government in Israel to even the most dove-ish one would not address some serious fundamental problems. And in my view Israel doesn't really have much option now except the all-out war response they have chosen.
