gala apples added as third freebie to chose from..white grapes were no where to be seen !!
Anyone tried the sharing striploin that's discounted this week?
I found the grapes in my local Lidl on Thurs, so I'd already used the voucher. Just tried adding it again now, as it's been updated, and I was able to add it again. Worth trying for anyone else who used the voucher before it changed.
Nice one for the heads up, I've had 3 of them since they were launched and I'll be buying another few tomorrow and next week for the freezer.
They are absolutely beautiful cooked medium in an airfyer, proper thick cut steak. 7.50 euro for nearly a pound of striploin steak is off the charts great value.
Dread to think what it would cost in a restaurant but it wouldn't be far off 50 europeans.
the app is a joke. If I scan my app barcode at the checkout I should get the reduced price for anything that is on offer. Having to activate an offer is ridiculous - one doesn’t have to do that in Tesco - if you use your card you get the reduced price automatically. what’s the point of it except to exclude someone who forgets to activate who is then a disappointed customer!
Activating has two effects:
If there was no activation, I could give someone else's phone number to get a freebie.
reduced further to 11c now , and judging by the stock, they might end-up on the freebies list ( scratch cards etc )
the one i checked showed a dec 2024 expiry date
To think I forked put a colossal 15c, I feel so ripped-off. Tempted to return them, and re-buy them at the lower price
These things last years after the BB date
Didn't know you got a birthday treat in app, I got the options of free jam donuts or hungry hippos or something else. Took the donuts! 1.69 value for free. And they were pretty good!
Canned salmon was 15c here too, same story
watch if your lidl has a Kind bar stand, it has 2 for €5 over the boxes of them, but a box is €4.29. In the small print it’s for a bar! How 2 bars for €5 is a deal when a box of 3 is cheaper is beyond me. Personally find labeling like this sharp practice and people will get caught.
Anyone have this past week's 3 for €9 offer? I can't see it on the site
The bars in the multi-pack boxes are smaller
As in this week October 10–16?
Pork loin chops, King Prawns, Beef stir fry, Small whole chicken, Diced beef steak, Salmon darnes with a sweet chilli glaze, Pork mince, Steak burgers, Diced chicken thighs
yeah but its more the sign is over the boxes of bars rather than the single bars its very misleading. Also by the weight difference is still cheaper to by a box of 3 than 2 bars
Sharing steak is absolutely class and well worth trying. I've paid full price and thought it great value.
Agree, very tasty & tender, have had it few times, great value on offer.

Cheers guys - picked one up today. I will be "sharing it" with myself tomorrow night 😀 (tbf probably leftovers for lunch the next day)
Enjoy 😉
2kg of potatoes on the Parkrun is pretty decent
She done awful looking at me when I was getting them for free earlier.
It's been a while since I saved more than I spent.
Best one in a long while.
No doubt my local shop won't have any on display but probably plenty 2kg of a different brand that looks just like it. They nearly caught me last week with the grapes, I had the sneaky undercover ones in the trolley before I copped it. Settled for the free bag of apples.
Just scratched a 30% off breakfast cereals I won't use but there's a coupe of good offers if you're a carnivore, have a freezer and like a good Rioja.
There's a "Just for you offer" with 20% off frozen foods I never once bought but would regularly buy the fresh ingredients for.
They have it down to an art, I'll be in there tomorrow.
Any notion how to make these nice? I just cooked them like processed tinned peas, and they were still hard and little flavour. Are they supposed to be soaked or cooked longer?
another 30% off snaxtastic products
feck off Lidl
I’ve never bought the tinned version but I have rehydrated peas myself and they need to be on a simmer for 60-90 minutes, pressure cooker would be ideal takes the goodness out of the bargain
Curry and stew innit
The wife steams the fresh version over boiling potatoes and they turn out lovely.
