Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Sam fender 2025 date to be announced before the weekend, tickets likely on sale next week
3 arena I take it
Wouldn't be shocked if it's a big outdoor show.
Maybe arena tour early in the year then back for EP? Following year back for outdoor headliner
He is playing the O2 in London it looks like
Picture This also playing Letterkenny on August 22nd.
Unfortunately this probably makes them a dead cert main stage sub-headliner for Electric Picnic.
Ya I'd say arena shows early 25, March/April maybe headline picnic and malahide again in 2026
GBH in Whelans 31st May in Whelans for a few who might be interested on here.
2025 filling up nicely!
They're thankfully not sub-headliner level anymore or anywhere near that, had a peak in popularity years ago for a few months but that's long gone.
The caliber of acts who played the Docklands last year were Block Rockin Beats, Hermitage Green and James Blunt two of which played smaller tents (Rankin's I believe) in recent years.
😪 😪
And so it begins.
Not gig related, but Colin Greenwood ( Radiohead bassist) has released a new book about his time in Radiohead along with a picture book of shots he took while in the band and will be doing a book signing at Easons o connell St on November 13th, if ya can't make it the signed edition is 70 quid on the website but ticket link is below.

I know it's not gig related but I got the email so figured there are definitely fans in here who may be able to go to it, unfortunately can't justify taking time off work to go myself but I am seeing the Hamlet x Radiohead play in June so can't complain
These are more than likely just smaller intimate shows they are doing but if they are playing EP they are 100% top 2 billing on the main stage. Not a fan of them but I believe they sold out all 3 of their irish outdoor shows last year.
Hothouse Flowers touring the first 2 albums next year. Only confirmed for English shows at the moment but they have said they are still working on dates for elsewhere.
Would have thought that about Kodaline!!
Pretty sure Kodaline were only brought in due to Fontanes cancelling/ deciding to do 3Arena show last minute due to a very well received album/increase in popularity, they always had at least one Irish sub for a long time and probably no one else suitable/available/budget on that notice who hadn't played it recently, it's the only thing that makes sence. There were still tickets available coming up to Cork too even though advertised as sold out (unless they just released more towards the date), not sure about the other gigs. Would also be their what, 3rd time sub-headlining in 6ish picnics? Very lazy booking if so.
Anyway this thread is starting to go a bit off topic, back to the more interesting gig's being announced!
Sam Fender announcing dates most likely this Friday. New album due out. Looks to be working with the main fella from War on Drugs on it.
Dublin show confirmed there with his latest Instagram story (looks like Stephen’s Green shopping centre)
He's put Stephens green on his story so Dublin date on the way, happy days missed him when he played the 3 and when he pulled out of the killers when they played Malahide
Have to say Sam is a decent artist so might try grab tickets or catch him on other irish dates in the future.
He headlined Malahide last year too
Bit big for the bandstand isn't he? Although I saw Mickey Joe Harte play there in 03'......
White Denim, the Academy, Sunday 2nd March: https://mcd.ie/artists/white-denim
Rock am Ring & Nova Rock have line up announcements next week
With The Cure releasing a new album i could see them playing somewhere here in the summer. Maybe Marlay Park or Malahide again
On that surprised no announcements yet for Marlay Park gigs
supposedly not touring until autumn 2025

Maybe 3Arena in that case
Rise Against playing here next year
January 28th - Olympia theatre
January 29th - Telegraph Building
Busted vs McFly added a second 3Arena (26 October) and SSE Arena (22 October) date. Clearly way more popular than I thought they were.
Also great to see Singular Artists promoting so many shows these days.
December 2nd for Sam fender....very soon thought would be march
