Very decent from what I’ve heard, have a ticket to the Róísín on Dec 1. Pal caught them in Boston last night supporting the Fontaines and she was very impressed.

Ah yeah, I hadn’t realised they were playing too. Excellent I think, Cork crew who’ve been getting better and better over the past three years. A very idiosyncratic frontman and they’re a mix of the Strokes and Pogues. I love them but they’re definitely an acquired taste.
That gig was announced ages ago by Selective Memory and then today i saw it appear on Singular Artist's site. It's still on SM's site too. Wonder what that's all about?

Anyone seen Valerie June before? In Galway on Wed and I like what I hear, a blend of soul, country and blues. She’s recorded will a hell of a lot of impressive people - Carla Thomas, Booker T Jones, Black Keys, etc. Bob Dylan also a fan and if I get a recommendation here then I’m going.
Yeah I've seen her support Mick Flannery and at a festival. Would recommend her.

Cardinals were the first act I saw at ATN 2024. Seem to remember them being a reasonably good sound to them. Been Stellar I heard on BBC Radio 6 Music a handful of months ago (actually, I see it was 31.07.24, to be precise!) & was so impressed, grabbed something to write the name down. They sound very good. Enjoy!
If you want a multi-storey, Q Park Christchurch is handy but it is paid parking.
can confirm, easy to pre-book and just drive in, 5 min walk to vicar st, might cost a little but so much time saved faffing.
I usually park on Francis street. Usually plenty of spots there.

Happened to me once. The Smithfield car park is only a 15 minute walk to Vicar Street so is a good alternate (and always has space) if Q Park Christchurch is full.
