Obviously got a lot of airplay in the run-up to Eurovision, yet seemed to stick around far longer on the radio than other Irish entries in the noughties…
When I saw The 2 Johnnies live in Wexford two years ago they covered this song, and the very next morning I heard it in a cafe on the radio.
Another Eurovision-related hit that got a ton of radio play at the time (understandable, considering RTE were plugging ‘You’re A Star’)…

I think this was a better song lyrically, but WGTWT was the catchier of the two songs.
