The Roman Catholic Church in Ireland wouldn't be given air time today on radio or TV. The only time you hear of them is to say how great some lad was at a funeral or RTE might contact the local priest if he was at the scene of an accident giving the last rights.
The Church today is silent on many things for fear of backlash. But I doubt they would care about Burke either way.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, everyone should have a right to speak but usually it's the "hard left" that want to shut people down, the liberals, here on boards especially, they want to shut others down so they can be heard. I don't believe in that, if someone doesn't like what they hear doesn't mean they should have the right to silence others. The Government branding people hard right who oppose them doesn't help matters because people who believe in certain things couldn't care less about being branded ultra this and ultra that.
