First one is the ration and the second is the nuts.
The Nuts. The ration is pure Rubbish. What price are they?
One is 10.45 and the other is 10.60.
25kg bags
wanted to get store lambs sheared, would weather be ok for them? i can house at night for a week until they acclimatise
How do you look up your dispatch documents online.
I'm going on to agfood but nothing showing.
Is there somewhere to upload movements off or on to the farm on this site.
I've an inspection next week and I'm afraid I mightn't have all entries in the farm book. Was looking to cross reference just to be sure
Its in the AIMS section select sheep and in the drop down menu near census. You can select movement in or out and date ranges
Im doing that and nothing is showing
How much are factory charges per lamb.Normally sell in mart.. Factory is about 60 miles so would have to pay haulage.
3
3.65 inc haulage. Clipping charge extra if their dirty
What marts in the west (Mayo,Galway or Sligo) have sheep sales on either a Thursday or Saturday that would have a large selection of horned ewe lambs? Previously bought privately but wanting to try marts this time.
Coolaney on a Saturday in Sligo would probably have some.
Ballina in Mayo is a Tuesday anyway
W hy should crossbred wether lambs make e15 more than horned lambs .Both pens well finished,, weighing 44kg
Prople just don't like the look of horned lambs imho
I agree this could be the reason, but the fact that they are factory fit you would think it wouldnt make any difference
waiting over two weeks for mullinahine sheep tags to sell a few stores. Fecking joke at this stage.
Gave up dealing with them, use cormac now and you have the tags within 2 days 3 max amd find them better lasting than mullinahone
yea I’ll move to them next time I think. After missing 3 Saturday marts now because of their delay.
Was tagging replacement lambs yesterday and 2 pulled away and I missed them with the electronic part of the tag and it closed. Is their anyway to reopen a tag when this happens rather than ordering a new one?
Remove the tag you got into the other ear & just use a new set. Easiest & quickest way to sort it.
I moved to Mullinahone since last year for tags. Cormac ones broke my heart where they wouldn’t pierce the ear, therefor bending and they were no use after. Never missed one with Mullinahone
Didn’t realise you could do this on Agfood?
Would be a good way of ensuring you have all the correct tag numbers on a purchase or sale entry into flock register.
Move to Cormac.
They sent sheep tags out to me next day last year after I forgot to order in time for a mart I wanted to go to.
Brilliant service and good people to deal with overall.
That's crazy, have a few left for freezer orders, picked up a few bags this morning for €8.80 on account
were they the wrap around tags ? found them useless , they sent out a modified pliers which made no difference , modified it ourselves which was a small bit better , no issues with the other ones.
This is my first year using the wrap around tags from Cormac. They sent me the pliers for them too. I thought them a mighty job and fierce easy to pierce the ears. I have had issues in the past with colored management tags not piercing the ear and then bending. The pliers for them was a poor design though.
Is a Combicrop of peas and barley mix, rolled and treated, a good feed for sheep?
it is, but don’t roll it for sheep feed it whole
It's rolled already. Does that make much difference? thanks.
In regards to the sheep welfare scheme (the new one), the actions had to be completed by this week. Do you just fill in the book then with everything completed by that date or do you have to return the book to the department? A couple of neighbours have posted there's back to the department but they received a letter about it, I got nothing here.
