Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Wonder how many of these rumours will be correct for Musgrave Park: https://www.corkbeo.ie/news/local-news/10-global-acts-could-headline-30070257?utm_source=linkCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
Released in 3 days Scruff. The couple I've heard are patchy. We'll hope for the best, eh?
Stereophonics confirmed
not many. Sure the script are playing Limerick as Irish exclusive next year so that’s them Ruled out
tinashe in the Olympia
Teskey brothers for trinity 30th June
The summer gig announcements are coming thick and fast now
All need to be announced by mid November or then wait till February
Nice the Dublin gig is on a Friday, would be happy with an all Welsh support e.g. Manics and Feeder 😊
Ha ha, that's a support lineup that would get me there!
To quote Blackadder, you'd be getting phlegm out of your hair for weeks afterwards… :)
Is St Anne's Park easily accessible from the city centre. Do Marathon Coaches run buses ?
Another trinity gig...
Not music, but fair play to John Bishop on the ticket prices…
Definitely
Have a very 'British (small bit of Irish)' collection for 2025 so far. Snow Patrol, James Blunt, Supergrass and hopefully Stereophonics
Hoping I'll pick up a travel package through Cassidy travel for Oasis
It's really handy to get to on the DART.
Not specific to any one gig but am seeing a huge uptick in gigs with a Mastercard presale these days. Justin Timberlake, Simple Minds, Lumineers, Iron Maiden and now Stereophonics.
It's really diluting the already diluted concept of a 'pre-sale'.
How does that work? Do they send individual code?
I believe once you're paying with a Mastercard, that's it.
How do you get the code/access to presale before you pay?
So it determines whether or not sale goes through based on the card number? Revolut is Mastercard, so wonder if it's Mastercard debit cards too?
I'm guessing follow this link if you have a Mastercard e.g.
https://shops.ticketmasterpartners.com/stereophonics-priceless
dart or Dublin bus. No coaches allowed and marathon don’t run buses to it
I saw for Justin Timberlake and Iron Maiden that there was no link or code to put tickets in the basket. I could add Justin Timberlake tickets when coming from the main Ticketmaster landing page.
That said, there is a dedicated link:
I assume it just tracks the first five digits of your payment card to validate that its Mastercard.
Not sure I'd go back to St Annes again.
The walk to the stage is 30 minutes from the entrance and there was only one exit so everyone had to snail along the avenue out, its highly dangerous and unprofessional.
Maybe they have added a second exit/entrance ?
Ub40 with Damo Dempsey in Gaelic grounds Limerick in august
Its full of goose sh1t aswell.
perfect accompaniment to the music of stereophonics so
I was at some of this summer's concerts and it was as you described, bottleneck until you get halfway along the main avenue.
Could be worse, could UB40/Damo Dempsey.
Only been to St Annes once for Noel G, agree its a bit of a trek into the park but kinda reminds me of a smaller Marlay Park type place, I moved to the back of the area when he was doing his last song and started the walk back just before it finished back to the Dart Station and was back in Connolly fairly quick.
