I got your PM, sorry for not applying. My tab is gone from the app so I’m currently waiting on Tesla to update how install access my remaining credits.
Thanks Gumbo, please let me know when they've sorted it and hopefully we can work something out.
How can credits from Person A be used for Person Bs car, is it via VIN selected by Person A?
Its more than 2000 as that figure is before VRT. For exact pricing with any options (Colour, wheels etc you need to configure the car with and compare "the cash price at bottom of page" to see the real difference
Essentially yes. Owner A transfer than car to you via the app only. Owner B loads the update. Owner B transfers the car back Owner A.
Done.
which also means stuff like Acc Boost remains with car (for life), good stuff
I'd say probably yes, but with the exception of if the car was traded in with Tesla, who could easily remove any upgrades in the hope of selling them again to the cars next owner.
Yep. I’ve “sold” It to 3 people for half price. Both parties delighted.
That’s indeed very possible.
Model 3 LR RWD now available with no estimated delivery date, Price very slightly reduced for the SR
Edit: Below range is with 19inch Novas
Is the long range LFP battery?
I saw it posted elsewhere but the range was 702km on the one I saw…… so we are getting paddy spec’d
apologies my bad - I have the 19s on it. Should be 702km
Sr now €37500- Great value.
No, will never be, cannot fit into the space
and colour options now lower and more palatable….
I had mine replaced, due to the autopilot system the work had to be done by autoglass in the Tesla Service Centre, as the cameras needed to be recalibrated. This is a pain in the a$$ if you are not living close to a service centre.
It's to make up for the additional duty that will need to be paid on delivery which is not currently displayed anywhere by tesla. sneaky!
Yeah I thought that but they'd want to be clarifying this tariff/duty thing sooner rather than later, talk about a grey area!
702 WLTP km for €45000 works out at €64.10 per km.
Are there car models that offer better value if (supposed) range is your thing?
without doing the math, a 2019/2020 Kona 64kWh
Anyone able to tell me what kW battery is in the 702km WLTP vs the 513km WLTP Model 3?
How come the 0-100 is quicker in the LR RWD when compared to the standard RWD? Is it software enabled or is there a different motor?
You'd think the opposite would occur with the LR having the bigger heavier battery.
The different battery chemistry in the LR can dump energy faster to the motor than the LFP batteries in the SR. That's one of the benefits of a Cobalt cathode.
Autoglass in Santry done mine. AG in Tallaght done a friends too.
non lfp, probably also higher nominal voltage meaning more kW drawn for the same amperage
Lokks like it will add around 3k to the base price. Assume that is enough to kick it over the VRT limit also. That 37.5k will end up as 43k I think.
So will Model 3s be more expensive than Ys in Europe? That will make the 3 a hard sell.
Not really pointless. They are showing that its the best value EV in terms of range vs cost.
perfectly relevant, same as bhp per euro or bhp per tonne. It's a good way to compare, if your most valuable commodity is range.
