Hi - test drove a Model 3 today and loved it. For anyone who has one, the 4 year warranty is great but if there is any issue, how does a repair work? The Tesla store in Sandyford doesn’t have a service centre by the looks of it. Second, for anyone who has the Highland model, how has the quality held up? Any bits and pieces following off etc.
Big service centre in sandyford. You have to pass the huge up and over roller doors to walk into the show room 😆
But if the issue can be done remotely, they send a technician (ranger) to your home, work or other address to fix while you relax in the sofa or continue working.
order my Model 3 this evening, now the waiting game. EST. delivery is November but I’m not holding my breath.
Surely you’d be hoping that November will drift into January anyway ?

Very likely especially if you’re willing to refuse delivery more than once and buy a similar car out of Inventory if you had to. Unless you’ve ordered something quite bespoke it should be very feasible. It would be crazy to register a car here in Nov/Dec unless it’s being leased.

I had estimate delivery May/June and got it September 9th after harassing them. Even when they start giving you a 2 week estimate delivery schedule, that is total and utter BS and keeps getting pushed out. The whole experience of buying a Tesla is horrendous. I'd be very surprised if you got it before the year end.
It's blatantly obvious that ordering from Cork is a mistake too and will delay you a further two weeks atleast. Unless you are living in Cork, select Dublin.
Are you aware of the additional tariff will be applied to the final price? It'll be coming in at the end of the month.
