McDonald's offers

With the McDonald's app. There are a number of offers. But once you use it. It's gone.

However, if ordering at the self serve kiosk, you can manually type in the barcode for the offer.

Only one code can be used per transaction, so if you need multiple, you have to do each as a separate transaction.

10 months since Ive had a McD's - prices are my only issue. In laws buy my kids their happy meals, cant argue with that, but i dont go near it. Chipper wins every single time as prices are now comparable and the quality is significantly better. Plus, every single time I went to the citywest McDonals, they did something wrong - wrong items, something missing, cold food, etc. Literally useless. Was another big reason ive given up on it, but the price/quality/value is definitely my main reason that im 10 months clean.

Not even the McRib will bring me back. Never got the obsession.

Citywest McDs is truly awful. Apart from the problems you mention, it's not unusual to wait 30 minutes in their drive-thru queue and the queue often tails back and blocks entry to the shopping centre itself.

I only go to McDs for their coffee, and occasionally a wrap-of-the-day for my lunch, but for the six weeks that Belgard Road was closed for refurbishment, it was atrocious. If BR ever closes again, I would actually drive to The Mill quicker than go to CW. It'd be as quick.

My son won €5000 last night in McDonald's in Dublin, he was out with a work colleague, he brought her a drink so she offered to pay for McDonald's so he's going to give her half, the sticker was on his wrap ,the staff in McDonald's were delighted for him. ,He can't believe it.

It’s definitely better value than the standard meals and menu prices, but just to show how badly we’re being ripped off in this country, there’s a meal in Australia available all year round where you get two McChickens with cheese, fries and a drink for the equivalent of about €4.

That’s in a country notorious for expensive fast food and dining out. We get an offer for roughly the same amount of food but double the price.

Just thought it was a comparison worth sharing. Not expecting people to emigrate for cheaper beige food.

Maybe I’m totally wrong but were the burgers that are now in the €8 meal deal not the same burgers that used to be included on the euro saver menu - they are small burgers not quarter pounders etc

They were €1.45 each last month. There burgers are tiny like McDonald's. Two would be just about a normal burger size IMO. They all raised prices.

McDonald's are after launching value meals in a good few countries. It's just typical that we in Ireland get gounged again. Burgers and nuggets that used to be on the eurosaver menu plus chips and a drink for €8??? Shite!
