It's irrelevant what they call the individual bits - they've been crowing about "Iron Dome" for over a decade. So it has become the generic term for their antiḿissile system.

What we are heading to now is a end game situation between Israel and the Mullahs.
Killing the Ayatollah should only be a small part of it, destroying their nuclear sector, every Iranian Guard barracks and killing as many of it's members as possible.
I think the response to that end game will be immense but it will have to be done.
Its also interesting what the israeli planes might face if they try to attack Iran again.
The Iranians waited months to carry out the retaliation strike. There are rumours that they were asking the Russians for air defence systems, as the israeli response is very predictable. If the Russians did give them air defence - a big if - the next problem is who would operate them. Not sure that Iranians can be trained in a few weeks to operate these systems, and deploy them in an effective way even if they took delivery of them.
It wasn't ideal but it was getting better but the getting better was down to Israel naively wanting peace with groups who are opposed to peace in any situation.

I have come to believe that, while Zionism/Israel has a huge influence over US politics, Israel's military actions are approved, and probably in many cases, directed from Washington. Probably most of Mossad's intelligence comes not from Mossad, but from the CIA and other similar US organisations.
How can it be that the various US attempts at getting a ceasefire always fail? The Oslo agreement and so many other agreements have always, always left the Palestinians in a weaker position than they started; and they are never enforced. Exactly the same as all those treaties that the US made with the indigenous peoples of the USA.
If the US is an honest broker, they are even stupider that Hezbollah's leadership who apparently were all wiped out by Israel.
Ergo the US is not an honest broker - they are a major player in undermining the Palestinians, always saying "just one more concession and Israel will leave you alone" - only Israel never does.

Israel and Iran will continue to escalate on both sides. Neither will back down. Both taking hugely irresponsible actions.
The only players capable of stopping this are the US and the West. Supposedly the adults in the room.
And I would argue that they have more influence on Israel than they do on Iran.
And them getting tough on Israel is far more likely to end this, than getting tough on Iran would be (which would just continue the escalation cycle).
But of course, it won't happen because of the upcoming elections in the US. Which is such a shame because there's slowly building momentum in Europe supporting a Palestinian state and the end of Israeli occupation.
Only US can pull Israel back. Iran can't stop Israel, and Israel certainly won't stop themselves.
