Yeah that happens often enough. The training aircraft is a slightly smaller 737 than what Ryanair usually use.
That o
That one is now with Buzz/Ryanair sun and has a polish reg. Doesn't seem to do training any more
SP-RUM.
What's this one doing? I thought maybe mapping but it seems to be too erratic for that?
Photography, probably. I saw it over city centre.
The lads are off somewhere …
Oh yeah, and the Casa seems to be following along now too.
I did notice a lot of activity over South Dublin last week, thought I heard a loop or banked turn being completed, so presume it was training for some airshow out foreign.
Report in the journal.ie saying that there is an excercise with NATO naval vessels. Could be related to that?

The three PC9s went into RAF Conningsby, the Casa has carried on to Belgium.
All going to Sonicole Airshow.
going to Kleine Brogal for spotters day
Thanks for your visit - Kleine-Brogel Air Base (kleinebrogelairbase.be)
The Silver Swallows are due to perform at Sanicole. Actually, four aircraft flew to Coningsby, the first two being in formation under the IRL102 callsign. I think they have since proceeded to KB, where most of the Sanicole aircraft fly from.
Thats makes far more sense than my random guess.
No offence but that's going to be a pretty boring display…
Couple of flights diverting to SNN from DUB at the moment.
Noticed that, runway closure? Back operating now.
The hideous downpours I'd guess. Unusual instantaneous showers. Gone now.
risk of microburst I'd imagine… which have a horrible habit of downing planes.
I'm sure there's anti war protestors somewhere on the Isle, frothing at the mouth, with the convoluted argument of Irish Aircraft actively travelling to a base with nuclear bombs on it.
Did a touch and go on each runway (or, at least, a VERY low pass, 25ft) at Baldonnel. It was up for two hours in the end, but all in the same area as above.

This caught my attention just now, even over the telly, droning past Dublin
Over Dublin15 just now.

An-12B just flew over Dublin en route to Shannon. Unmistakable sound.

Exactly the same here. I heard it over the TV and thought it was a low flying propeller plane just after take off.
I'm in Sandyford and I could hear it loud and clear.
Probably best to keep to flight radar 24 thread
The sound of this overhead 24000ft is unreal.😀
Just heard it and guessed what it was…
Lovely drone off it 👌
Out again tonight. EIDW 16/34 this time.

This was around yesterday, I forgot to post. Lovely sound from it.
