Firstly the only possible combatants would be Iran and Israel, and Iran wouldn't have a hope, and no more powerful country is going to intervene to prop them up either.

It's not so long ago that the wonderful people of Limerick refused a refugee ship a right to land and forced it back to Europe so that the passengers could be sent to the concentration camps .

The US gift Israel annually billions in military aid. They have a military and political strategic alliance with Israel. Im reading the US has in fact agreed to provide Israel with $3.8 billion per year through 2028 in military aid.
So the likelihood is given how invested the US is in Israel, that anything happens, the US will be fighting with Israel.
