I'm a weak weak man. After all my giving out about the pro I preordered it this morning from Smyth's. Now to break it to the wife 😂
Yeah with only 12,300 editions being made (which is f*cking stupid, at least do 30,000 for the 30th anniversary) and most of them being sold by Playstation directly in most countries, Smyths were only ever going to get a few of them. I didn't hold out much hope or anticipation of getting one (especially when they hadn't revealed the price of the bundle in advance either).
Not surprised it went quickly, apparently Smyths were only allocated 30 units.
I'm **** raging. I checked Smyths at like 9 and there was no PS5 Pro on the website so assumed they were getting them later. Checked at 10 and saw the Pro and the anniversary edition which was already out of stock 😭
Beyond gutted about the anniversary edition but I have a pre-order for the regular pro at least.
Missed out on the bundle (damn phonecall). Decided to go with the normal Pro and then the 30th anniversary Edge controller. Works out nearly as much as the bundle but without the charging station and diskdrive faceplate, but not worried about them anyway so no harm. Console is generally out of sight so it was mostly the controller I was looking for (with those glorious coloured facebuttons and PS symbol), but the bundle is a decent deal in fairness. I was actually expecting it to be about 1200.
Keep the console and sell your old one 😎

Nice well done, it looks to be gone now so I just pre ordered the normal boring old white pro!!. Prob for the best, €1100 is a lot more than I'd promised myself I'd spend..but If it was in stock I'd have bought it 🤣

Without wanting to start that old debate again I thought days gone was pretty great. It was just too long they should have cut the whole last portion from the game.
I'll caveat this by saying I played it a while after launch so I didn't encounter many bugs apparently it was terrible at launch.
