Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Kilmainham, 3arena, Malahide
Can see it been Kilmainham
Can't say I'm a fan of the venue no matter the layout
Could be a contender for Cork or Limerick maybe?
tour dates seem perfect for kilmainham in late august
I'm at the London show now and no way you'd get that stage into the 3arena it's huge.…
It looks purposed built for arena's hope I'm wrong though but don't think the 3 would be big enough unfortunately
Enjoy and report back on it
An extra date in Paris just added and Sleep Token supporting which would be awesome
Amistat in Ambassador, well worth seeing once, two very talented brothers, not sure about an all seated gig though. Has the Ambassador been properly renovated?
nope mcd are begging Dublin council to hand over €2m to them for nothing in return. So only seats added and not much else done
That stage looks awesome, perfect for basketball arenas. Whats the story with RDS simmonscourt? I think it would be the best option here
Simmonscourt isn’t that big I thought

Quick google says Hall 8c 6.5k only theater style. Meh. Nothing about standing. Based on the stage layout, I don't think theres a suitable venue for them. I don't think they would fill aviva, unless germans buy all the tickets. There were more than 400k in a Ticketmaster q for their hamburg show.
It's been a long time since I've seen a show in the RDS Simmonscourt but my overarching memory was that the sound acoustics there are absolutely awful.
Would LP be big enough for a European stadium in the round tour ?
Probably in germany only and maybe a few other countries famous with their rock festivals. But if they do multiple cities in the same country, then i don't think so, arenas only then. My personal opinion.
But what do I know. If sum41 can sell 40k tickets in paris, maybe LP can do stadiums too
Just back from the LP show, it was fxcking amazing from start to finish they didn't stop from minute one, the production is mental as well and the setlist is banger after banger
It's definitely intended for arena's I think with the production but with the demand I think they could do stadiums, think RDS would be ideal for them alright as it's completely in the round and they do alternate where they position halfway through, I think they'll definitely play festivals so there's a good chance I think of a Kilmainham if they went down that route but for the in the round aspect only venue I can think of is the RDS
added my view below was up at the barrier they gave out early entry to the first 500 and got 50th so happy days
She can definitely hit the notes no doubt about that, definitely in my top 5 shows I've seen and I've seen plenty, never thought I'd hear those songs live again tbh,
RDS stadium is being redeveloped so is out for the next 18 months or more.
Can her voice survive her singing(roaring) like that ?
I know your vocal cords strengthen the more you use them (until they stop working) , but janey she gives them some workout !!
Lumineers back to play St Anne's park, 31st May
first st Anne’s announced
Didnt enjoy Lumineers in St. Annes at all in 2023 and I'd be a fan. More suited to indoors than a festival type set up.
No issue getting tickets this morning, my initial thoughts were that a 2nd night might be ambitious.
Interesting that is all seating with the flat seating classed as VIP and costing €156 a pop
I thought Linkin Park were huge in Ireland and always went number 1. Long time ago now obviously so maybe the fanbase isn't quite what it was.
At their height of popularity in 2003 they supported Metallica here and were not made welcome (to say the least). If they sell a big venue with only half of the original band I would be shocked. On the other hand, Oasis showed us that nostalgia sells. It will be interesting to see. If sleep token supported though that's another story for me.
Yeah there's certain parts of songs where she's saving her voice and just points the microphone at the crowd, can't blame her at all, she's very good at the songs they recorded with her,
Ran into quite a lot of Irish at it so I'd say the fanbase is there, a lot of international fans so I'd say if they did play here be no problem shifting the tickets, they're playing with sleep token in France I saw was announced yesterday which is quite the bill
Kinda raging it's fully seated as was gonna pick up a ticket for myself but the whole seating thing changes that, similar with James Blunt
Saw them when QotSA supported them in Rds ??
Josh was deliriously drunk….
LP were just going through the motions….
There was flat seating available yesterday in the presale, I got good seats in row B, they were 80 euro each.
Only some of the flat seating is VIP.
Ya that's when a lot of the fanbase would've of been of age to attend, Coheed and Cambria were there as well iirc.
Oasis were always a big band here, Linkin Park not so in comparison
