Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Alannis Morrisette is playing Lytham festival, likely to get a show here?
Hans Zimmer and Iron Maiden tickets secured!
The poor old bank account took a decent hit today 😆
Ya. I thought that was a bit humorous alright. There was no problem getting a ticket for the last 3Arena gig. I presume Malahide will be at least double the capacity. And the fact that it's a Wednesday night in a venue that is not convenient to get to will be a disincentive for many people.
But I'm really looking forward to it.
A month gap between dates, that is unusual.
……..
There are examples of acts who don't fill venues but still use dynamic pricing to maximise revenue. Pantera in the 3 arena is not close to selling out but standing tickets are still €230 and probably will be up until shortly before the concert. Green Day had dynamic pricing on to take advantage of the initial rush of sales, despite tickets being freely available on Ticketmaster until the day of the gig.
David Gray adds second night in the 3Arena on 2 May.
They’re just going down the VIP route instead
Great to see Thomond becoming a real annual thing.
I love Maiden but I have to scoff at them coming out about the dynamic pricing thing. They'll draw a big crowd but supply will just about equal demand me thinks. A populist thing for them to say.
Supergrass Thursday 29th May in the Olympia
exclusive Irish show next year for the script so one night only for them
The Script Thomond Park Sat 12 July. Any rumours on who else will be playing on the Friday/Sunday nights or will they have kept these days free in case of extra nights needed for the Script?
I had got the Fan Club subscription there over the weekend to get the artist presale in the hopes of avoiding dynamic pricing. Ah well.
No dynamic pricing for Iron Maiden 👍

Agreed, they were my first gig at the point 05 and always a great live band with plenty of hits. Loved their last gig at fairview so will be happy if they announced show next year
I'd love Trinity again. It was such a perfect venue for them last time.
They are so good and so reliable as a live act. I've probably seen them a dozen times and always loved their shows.
Probably not to headline but a big slot on the Pyramid a possibility. Sub to Harry Styles, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, etc?
Either Fairview again or at a push St Annes I'd say
doubt it will be malahide, played fairview and trinity their last 2 times, dont think fairview sold out either
IOW, Lytham, some other standalone show near London (last 2 are a week later after Dublin), so couldn't see a Glastonbury headline show, although could be way off on judging his pull
Hopefully Stereophonics in Malahide or somewhere
Completely agree, if LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire etc. are playing Malahide then Radiohead could easily do Marlay Park at least.
nah it’s same as 2023,2023 or 2019. Rule that big promoters here have is as much summer stuff should be on sale by mid November. Otherwise don’t announce anything till mid February as people will not buy tickets in December/January.
That was over 7 years ago, and it was sold out too.
It sold out very quickly.
Its a completely different scenario nowadays, there would be pent up demand and the bandwagoner brigade has never been bigger.
Yes it looks like acts are announcing tours earlier this year, the last few weeks have been chock full.
Less reliance on the Christmas market, people seemingly have no aversion to paying big money for tickets nowadays.
yawn
they just about sold out 3 arena last time they played here. Still tickets knocking about the week off . Malahide is extent of their demand here. No chance they would 50,000 tickets.
Signals a Glasto set that weekend. Though he's doing IOW so maybe not. Not a fan but I'd check him out at a fest, his debut album was excellent.
That wouldn’t strike me as a very Radiohead thing to do. Where’s the rumour from?
Supergrass for Olympia, May 29th
