On today’s podcast I can’t bring myself to get worked up about workers’ rights when it comes to top level soccer. Not because I don’t think the workload is fair on them but because there’s so many other things to worry about that are more meaningful and my capacity for hand-wringing about the thing I throw on in the background a few days a week isn’t very high.

How they present the idea will matter a lot. I'd actually support a restriction for the player along the lines of minutes per month. something that might level the field between top and lower clubs.
