Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
How much would you like to bet ?😄
Seems this is the source of the rumours, some guy mentioning the concert celebrity on Reddit. 😁
U2 are unlikely to announce a new tour before an album announcement.

Only came across the page recently. Was it called something else before that? Its mental the following that page has built up (80k) and the U2 competition its running has over 800 likes already. Absolute chancer but will probably be on the money with the U2 prediction so will look legit
they’ve ran a bunch of “follow me, share this post and you can win Taylor Swift etc” tickets. Easy way to get followers in short time.
People love free ticket competitions
a few days ahead of time but sure it was already well known and one or two of the tabloids had leaked it
That vid still doing the rounds? Some 'orrible berk in a basement.
Mustve seen close to 80 shows this year and her performance at Glasters end of June one of the finest. Worth see her for "Hallucinate" alone. Superb live vocals throughout. Shes incredible.
Latitude also announcing a headliner on Monday so guessing that might be match up with IOW headliner
Kylie is rumour for both
I hope U2 play croker. I really want to see them
Her Glastonbury performance was slated for lip syncing
Yea watched most of her set on TV, definitely heavy amount of lip syncing although felt her set felt a bit flat imo, maybe at yer own gigs where there's less of pressure(headlining Glastonbury) it's better
I don't think the people going to Dua Lipa are overly bothered about the live musicianship (or lack there of) tbh.
The video you shared earlier is interesting but it's nothing new for pop artists. It's impossible to sing and dance at the same time and if they showed up with just band and no dance show you'd have a whole load of people going home disappointed. Don't get it personally but whatever takes their fancy I suppose.
It was well known they were playing in Dublin because at the end of the last leg of their tour they had "Dublin" listed as coming next. Someone on Boards even had it before it was officially announced. They picked up second hand news and claimed they were an insider.
They also claimed they were being sued by Ticketmaster for leaking news and started to crowdfund for legal fees. Then they announced they were setting up an alternative for the ticketmaster (which is ludicrous) and started to crowdfund. They they ran paid competitions which were clearly designed to raise so much money they could buy tickets second-hand.
Total scammer and bullshïtter.
Which she has denied ad nauseum...

Last part isn't true.
They have never once honoured any of the competition prizes.
They are 100% scams that the scumbag uses to get people to subscribe to them at between €9.99 and €12.99 a month.
Apologies, you're probably right.
I was putting two and two together and assuming it was four to comprehend how they would get away with it but you're damn right. I'd fully believe it was a complete and utter scam.
She can deny it all she wants, the science says otherwise.
The live vocal track is identical to the studio track, there is only one explanation for that.
Don Henley and Madonna have also denied lip syncing but the science proves otherwise.
Nothing beats the lip syncing goat though.
lol.
I saw him in Dublin, brought my mum as she is a big fan.
People were giving out about it on the Liveline the following day, its worth listening to, very funny.
Cant believe its 9 years.
"His voice was getting more powerful as the night went on"
"He got younger as the evening went on"
Other rumours for IOW/Lattitude are the killers being announced
Christ, he looks in a bad way! Like a zombie!! Literally 'wheeled out' to perform!! 😁
He is 90 now.
Should call it a day.
"The science" lol
As I said, I was near her and witnessed her singing live so that's confirmation enough for me that she sings live (at the show I was at anyway).
Its amazing the amount of people think he's actually singing, when you look at his lips barely move and somehow able to sound exactly like he did in his heyday
Wonder will the new U2 tour use some of the Sphere stuff
Must renew my Subscription
To put it into an Irish context how are Coldplay playing Croke Park a problem for Whelan's, the Roisín Dubh or Dolan's? Many (most?) of the people going to AC/DC, Taylor Swift, Coldplay or Garth Brooks have little to no interest in heading to small venues. As far as I'm aware our small venues are not presently under threat and they received much government help during lockdown, something not replicated across the water.
The far more concerning issue in the UK is down greatly to Tory economic mismanagement for fourteen years. VAT is higher, their electricity bills are the highest in Europe, gas costs that are close to double that of Ireland's and an Arts Council that has done next to nothing in funding those venues preceding and throughout the lockdown. Add in Brexit, a declining economy, less disposable income and you've got a perfect storm for venues. Coldplay and others are not the cause of this problem, nor are they obliged to help. The fact that they are should not draw reactionary criticism which I consider to be anything but helpful. Hopefully some intervention by Labour will also help reverse this depressing trend.
The annual false claims that some or other artist gets from people who don't understand broadcast problems.
I'd say the last thing they'll want to play is more achtung baby 😂😂
I'm seriously considering buying it myself, I'd actually pay it to just guarantee the tickets and to avoid the hassle of endless Ticketmaster queues and fighting off international fans and yanks for the tickets as them being home shows will draw more of an international audience.
I bought the membership for Linkin Park and I'm off to London next week to see them so paying for the access pays off alright, it's still extortion but has to be done unfortunately
There's a lot of 'mega fans' who are in the U2 fan club and will be in the presales for Dublin etc
It's a decent fan club and you get a gift each year. There's a customs charge
Not a hope they can replicate that in croker. They could play the visuals on screen but sure you can watch that on YouTube.
Sphere really was a unique experience
Might be reading too much into it but download are teasing green day for next year with "wake me up when it's june" with a pic of green fireworks
