Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Agreed. Just listened tfor the first time and they (Reytons) sound like pre-adolescents who've just plundered the Arctics' debut.
Pal working with them is on a retainer for 2025 and 2026. Album due in October and they'll keep touring that under the Spheres moniker. Seems like they're setting a near-unsurpassable record for touring intake. A target for Ed and Taylor?
Taylor has beaten them with less dates at this point, she was charging on average more than Coldplay.
They've passed her out, circa $20m ahead at this point but all will change, particularly as each of her nights grosses three times more than theirs. Are they having a race to $2 billion?
That's exactly what they sound like, but the singer is 38 years old. Embarrassing
that table is only showing total gross of 60 eras dates, sure she is done about 130 now with another 15 or so to go. She will easily have beaten $2billion for the tour at this point, maybe even hit $2.5billion when she finishes it up in December. add in a few hundred million in merch money, she probably will make $3bn.
yea spoke with one of the crew after one of the dublin gigs and he said they have a contract to tour until 2026. he told me that night about wembley and hull being announced soon too
Could be cool to see the show in such a small stadium
I see Garth Brooks is done his vegas residency next March. Maybe a irish summer tour 🤔
Merch doesn't count, only tour tickets when estimating tour income for this comparison. But you're right. I'd not worked out how out of date that table was. Time magazine estimates that she'll hit $2.16 billion by the end of the tour in December. Coldplay won't pass that unless they decide to royally rip people off. Those are astonishing figures.
For those too lazy to click on op's link it's Lambrini Girls, Whelans, Saturday 5th April: https://singularartists.ie/show/lambrini-girls/
FFS! Yet another festival date i guess then? I haven't seen them play their own gig here since the Olympia in 2011. Missed them in the same venue in 2015 as i was at a wedding🤬
yeah wouldn’t be shocked if appear at ATN next year. They are in odd position, not popular enough for a sold out olympia or vicar, too big/expensive for anything else except a festival that can afford their fee
Would welcome Mogwai to ATN with wide open arms…!!
I’m sure some will complain as they played it a few years ago I.E pod/aiken repeating too many acts as usual
…quality, tho'…
They also announced that 10% of their proceeds from 10 stadium gigs next year will go to the Music Venue Trust which is quite generous and will literally keep some independent venues open. Fair play to them
Would they not sell out Vicar or Olympia? I thought they would. Maybe not?
Saw them at that little one day event a while back in Kilmainham. Really enjoyed it. I know it's almost all instrumental. But some lovely tunes.
Last Dublin headline show in 2015 wasn’t a sell out, since then it’s been festival shows only at likes of ATN, body and soul and kilmainham. Festival shows are more lucrative for bands. there was barely 300 or 400 people watching them at body and soul the other year.
Standard presale tickets 200e
€290-€362 for anything in the flat seating area. Insane money.
Painless for the James Blunt 3plus presale, prices (excluding fees) start at €65, €72.50, €80,€107
One of the albums of my teenage years, hopefully 'Toploader' will still be the support for Dublin. Noticed on there site they only list up til the 16th Feb show but 3Arena website has them listed. **** knows
Seen ‘em twice at EP, neither drawing huge crowds though the latter in 2014 clashed with OutKast and Slowdive so our group was split. a huge pity they don’t do standalone here as they’re a special band who take time to warm up through the set so a 60 min festival slot is never enough. Maybe if they later announce a gig doing Rock Action or CODY they’d sell out the larger venues?
Singular Artists list Toploader as support.

Was able to pick up third row tickets in the 3 presale so am over the moon.
touring new album so that’s priority for next 18 months and don’t think them doing a specific album will be enough of a pull for a promoter to risk an olympia or vicar.
If you're a Cure fan then jump on the new site and whatsapp group. Nice bit of hype for the new album and probably how pre sales would be issued if they tour next year. (well so far it's just a bot texting you cure lyrics)
Overdrive teasing an announcement for tomorrow at 7am
Sligo Whiplash Metalfest - Sat 2nd & Sun 3rd Aug 2025.
Will be 20 years since the first one back in '05!
Intresting
Hopefully it's a Dublin date on the Trivium & BFMV tour
Maybe Biffy Clyro or Linkin Park
Would be great for any of them (especially Trivium/BFMV) but not getting my hopes up
Don't think itll be anyone as big as those names, but Biffy would be incredible.
